Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." –is the promise that God has given to my mother before I was born. I was born in a Hindu religious family in a small village in near Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. My mother was told by some one that if she prays to Jesus Chri
st, she will be blessed with children. After hearing that, she sought the mercy of the Lord. God heard her prayers and blessed her with children. This miracle causes my mother to trust Jesus Christ. But my father did not like it and used to scold her. He never cared for the family. As we were not rich, my mother found it very difficult to feed me and family. However, Lord helped me to be alive. As I was growing at a very young age, m y soul could not find any peace due to the sin in my heart. God rescued me and gave peace in my heart. At the age of 20, my grandmother invited me to attend church special services. As I did not want to hurt her by rejecting her invitation, I accepted to go along with her to the church. I went to church for three days with her. She used to close her eyes and pray. But I could not close my eyes for much time. On the fourth day when she started to pray, suddenly God’s Spirit began to speak with me and I began to confess all my sins with deep repentance. God had forgiven all my sins and spoke to me from His word, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you and heart of flesh” –Ezekiel 36:26. After I accepted the Lord as my personal savior, I slowly began to grow in Lord and my fellowship with Jesus Christ became stronger. My grandmother stayed with me for few months and strengthened me spiritually by teaching me so many things from the Bible. She encouraged me to have quite time with the Lord every day. As I was taking quite time with the Lord, God spoke to me in a specific way through Bible, “For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's”. – Philippians – 2:21. Then immediately obeying to his call, I submitted myself to him and started to serve him from December 27th 2013. God began to using me for His glory where I lost my testimony. I believe, Psalms 110:3 “Your people shall be volunteers in the day of your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.” This scripture came to pass into life. Now, my desire is to serve the Lord faithfully and to preach His word to the lost world.
