On this solemn occasion of Good Friday a day of reflection, compassion, and selfless service the students of Sog Yungdrung Ling Bon Monastery (སོག་གཡུང་དྲུང་གླིང་བོན་པོ་དགོན་པ།།) came together under the guidance of Ven. Khenpo Yonten Gyatso Rinpoche, Sonam Gyaltsen, Gen Dawa Khayab, and Monlam Namdak to uphold a shared responsibility towards our environment along the path from the monastery to the Helipad at Yangang.
Inspired by the values of care, discipline, and respect for all forms of life, we humbly wish to share a gentle message with everyone: kindly refrain from littering. Even if we may not always be able to contribute actively, we can each ensure that we do not make our surroundings unclean.
Sikkim, lovingly known as “Green Sikkim,” is a reflection of our collective effort and awareness. Let us come together with mindfulness and responsibility to preserve its natural beauty and inspire others through our actions.
