✨ VBS 2026 – Day 9 ✨
Theme: *Ring of Governance* 👑

As we completed the 9th day of Vacation Bible School 2026 at St Thomas Church, KGF, our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy for the wonderful transformation God has brought among the children.

Today’s theme, *“Ring of Governance" reminded every child that true leadership comes from God and that we are called to live with discipline, wisdom, responsibility, and love just as Christ taught us.

Over these past days, we have witnessed remarkable changes in the lives of the students. Children who came shy and hesitant are now confidently singing, praying, participating, memorizing Bible verses, and growing in faith and fellowship. Their enthusiasm, unity, and spiritual growth have truly become a blessing to all of us.

This transformation would not have been possible without the extraordinary efforts and dedication of our VBS teachers, volunteers, and directors who worked tirelessly day and night with patience, love, sacrifice, and commitment to make every session meaningful and joyful for the children.

A heartfelt appreciation to:
🌟 Director – Mr. Paul Vivillian
🌟 Assistant Director – Mr. Noel Franklin
🌟 Teachers, Volunteers, Church Members, and Parents
🌟 Senior Teachers - Mr. R Marshall Rajan, Mrs. Naveena M D and Mrs. Praveena M D

Your hard work, prayers, and service have made VBS 2026 a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for every child.

Above all, we thank Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and abundant blessings throughout this VBS journey. 🙏❤️

08-02-2026 marks a truly historic and grace-filled occasion in the life of St. Thomas Church, KGF—a day that beautifully brought together faith, tradition, and progress.

We were deeply honored and blessed to have Rt. Rev. Vincent Vinod Kumar Bishop of Karnataka Central Diocese to preside over the Holy Confirmation Service. With prayerful reverence and spiritual wisdom, he led the congregation through a solemn and uplifting service, confirming the candidates who publicly affirmed their faith and commitment to Christ. This sacred milestone in their spiritual journey was witnessed with great joy and gratitude by family members, friends, and the entire church community. The service served as a powerful reminder of God’s abiding presence and the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The atmosphere was filled with devotion, reflection, and celebration as the confirmands received blessings and were encouraged to walk steadfastly in faith, hope, and love. It was not only a personal milestone for them, but also a moment of renewal for the whole congregation.

Adding to the significance of this blessed day, we were privileged to inaugurate the digitization of our church records, dating back to the year 1903. This important initiative represents a meaningful step toward preserving our rich spiritual and historical heritage. These records hold within them the stories, faith journeys, and legacy of generations who have been part of this church, and through digitization, they will now be safeguarded and made accessible for years to come.

This milestone reflects our commitment to honoring the past while embracing the future—ensuring that our history is not only remembered but also preserved with care and responsibility in a modern format.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rt. Rev. Vincent Vinod Kumar for his presence, guidance, and blessings, and to Rev. Sudhakar Joshua P Presbyter-In-Charge, Mr. Gunasegaran secretary, Mr. R Marshall Beckham Treasurer, Committee Members: Mr. Christopher Prasad, Mr. Gunaseelan, Mr. Simon John, Mr. Sampath Raj, Miss Jayaseeli, Miss Raksitha, Mrs. Gunamani John, Diocesan Council member Mr. Anish Mathew, Youth's Mr. Paul Vivillian, Mr. Solomon, Mr. Samuel Jeba Kumar, Mr. Roshan, Church Sexton Mr. Jayachandra Kumar and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize the Confirmation Service.

As we reflect on this special day, we thank God for His countless blessings upon our church and pray that He continues to guide us in faith, unity, and service.

“Thus far the Lord has helped us.” (1 Samuel 7:12)
