The Vedic Foundation runs one Monastery in India, along the sacred Ganges River and the foothills of the Himalayas, in Munikireti, Rishikesh, the birthplace of spirituality: Yogalaya Ashram. Yogalaya Ashram and the Vedic Foundation of the Himalayas are dedicated to foster the knowledge of the Vedic teachings and Scriptures and to educate the brahmacharis and brahmacharinis for preaching worldwide.

One of the main aims of the Ashram is to teach for real spiritual seekers, either monks or lay men, the real spiritual values of India. In the ashram there is a very beautiful temple dedicated to Gurudeva, Shri Swami Tilak Paramahamsa. The temple receives the visit of thousands of people throughout the year.
