🪷 Teacher’s Day Celebration 🪷

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, our school section came together to celebrate and honour our respected teachers. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation through beautiful presentations of poems and essays, reflecting on the importance and influence of teachers in our lives.

The celebration was made even more enjoyable with the sharing of sweets and tea, followed by enthusiastic participation in handwriting competitions in Tibetan, Hindi, and English, as well as a drawing competition.

It was a joyful and meaningful occasion filled with appreciation, creativity, and the warm bond between teachers and students. We are happy to share a few photographs capturing the memorable moments from the celebration.

དེ་རིང་སྟེ་༢༠༢༦/༩/༢ ཉིན་ནི་བོད་ཀྱི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་དབུ་འཁྲིད་སྤྱི་ནོར་༸གོང་ས་༸སྐྱབས་མགོན་ཆེན་པོ་མཆོག་གིས་རླབས་ཆེན་གྱི་དགོངས་གཞི་དང་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བ་ཆེན་པོས་ངེད་ཅག་བོད་མི་རྣམས་ལ་རིན་ཐང་བྲལ་བའི་མང་གཙོའི་ལམ་ལུགས་ཡང་དག་པ་འདི་ཉིད་གསོལ་རས་གནང་བའི་ཉིན་མོ་ཞིག་ཆགས་ཡོད་པ་བཞིན། དེ་རིང་འདི་ག་མཁན་བླ་འདུས་མང་ཚང་འཛོམས་ཐོག་བོད་ཀྱི་མང་གཙོའི་དུས་ཆེན་སྲུང་རྩིས་ཞུས་ཡོད་པ་དང་། ལྷག་པར་བལ་བོད་ས་མཚམས་སུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཆུ་ལོག་གི་གོད་ཆག་བྱུང་བ་རྣམས་ལ་གདུང་སེམས་མཉམ་སྐྱེད་མཚོན་ཆེད་དུ་སྨིན་ལམ་གསུངས་བཞིན་པའི་སྐབས་ཀྱི་བརྙན་པར།

Today on the 2nd September, as we mark the 66th anniversary of tibetan democracy day, the program started with both the national anthem of India and Tibet sung by all those who have gathered. Then the monk students displayed and shared what the importance of the day is and what they have researched , learnt about the Tibetan democratic progress in the last 66 years. They also shared about the centuries old friendship between the nation of India and Tibet. This meaning program was concluded with prayers and heartfelt dedication offered by the sangha for those people who have suffered and lost their lives and loved ones in the recent flood in the areas of Tibet and Nepal. We send out our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers for all those who have suffered losses.

༄༅།། དེ་རིང་ཉིན་གཉིས་པར་གྲུབ་དབང་༸མགར་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཆེན་པོ་མཆོག་ཉེ་ལམ་གློ་བུར་བསྙུན་གཞི་བཞེས་ཚུལ་བསྟན་པར་འདི་ག་མཚོ་པདྨའི་འབྲི་གུང་འོག་མིན་ཐུབ་བསྟན་བཤད་སྒྲུབ་གླིང་དགོན་དུ་གང་གི་བསྙུང་གཞི་མྱུར་དུ་དྲག་སྐྱེད་ཡོང་བའི་སྨོན་འདུན་ཤུགས་དྲག་དང་བཅས་གང་གི་སྐུ་ཕྱྭའི་ཞབས་རིམ་དུ་མ་གཅིག་གྲུབ་པའི་རྒྱལ་མོའི་ལུགས་ཀྱི་ཚེ་སྒྲུབ་གནད་སྨིན་ཞུ་བཞིན་པའི་སྐབས་ཀྱི་བརྙན་པར་ཁག།

Today, the Sangha of Wogmin Thupten Shedrubling hosted the second and final day of Ayu puja for the His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche through "machig dupe gyalmo" tsedrup. We are happy to share some glimpses from the puja and rejoice and dedicate the merits to all the sentient beings.

Today the Sangha here at Wogmin Thupten Shedrubling Monastery earnestly performed meaningful rituals, such as recitation of the mantra of Buddha Amitayus and the mantra of Tārā, the Wish-fulfilling Wheel, for the venerable and esteemed His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche in the heartfelt response to his recent showing of signs of illness. We pray for H.E Garchen Rinpoche's health and life to remain unshakable and indestructible, as well as for his vast and noble activities to benefit all beings as vast as space, and for his illness to swiftly recover. We request everyone to do the same.

Today we, the sangha and the members of Wogmin Thupten Shedrubling Monastery celebrated "Chökhor Düchen", commemorating the anniversary of the Buddha’s first teaching. Observed on the fourth day of the sixth Tibetan lunar month, it celebrates the moment the Buddha "turned the first wheel of dharma" by teaching his disciples THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS at Sarnath's Deer Park. And on this very day, we also celebrate the auspicious birthday of our guru, His Holiness Kyabgon Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche. The assembled held prayers for His Holiness's long and healthy life and for all his noble aspirations to be fulfilled. We extend the warmest of birthday greetings to His Holiness, on behalf of the sangha. Here are some glimpses from today's auspicious gathering.

We are honoured to share some highlights from today's courtesy visit of the Honourable Sikyong Penpa Tsering la, the head of CTA (Central Tibetan Administration), to Tso Pema and our Monastery. During his visit, the Sikyong called upon the monasteries in the area and the Tibetan community, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation for his gracious presence and interactions.
