Doling Monastery Doling Monastery is situated in South Sikkim, about 4 kilometers to the South of Ravangla bazaar.

Rang-Lue Drak

The 6th unbroken lineage holder of Terton Dorje Lingpa of Doling Monastery, Lam Phurdud Dorje, revealed several sacred treasures (terma) from the holy cave known as Rang-Lue Drak, which means “Self-Emanated Cave.”

This cave is considered highly sacred, and every year the monks of Doling Monastery perform purification rituals there known as Neysol.

According to oral tradition, Thrulshik Pawo Dorje once attempted to reveal a treasure from this same cave but was unable to do so.

On 26/02/2026, devotees were deeply blessed to witness the sacred Ter-Wang of the holy remains of the great Tertön Dorje Lingpa. The day was further sanctified by the precious Tsewang (Long Life Empowerment) and the profound Wang of the Phurpa of H.E. Lachung Rinpoche.

In addition to the sacred empowerments, devotees were also fortunate to receive a special drama teaching session, enriching the spiritual gathering with learning, devotion, and joyful participation.

It was a rare and auspicious occasion, filling the Geonpa with immense blessings and spiritual joy for all present.
