Doling Monastery is situated in South Sikkim, about 4 kilometers to the South of Ravangla bazaar.

It was founded in about 1718 AD by Lama Rigdzin Longyang, under the guidance of his father Terton Ugen Dorje Lingpa.

🙏 An Auspicious Visit and Precious Blessings at Doling Monastery 🙏

It was a deeply auspicious and blessed occasion for Doling Monastery as we had the great fortune of receiving the visit of Khen Rinpoche Sangay Rangjung.
During his sacred visit, Khen Rinpoche bestowed precious Lung oral transmission of (Jamphel Tsenjöd refers to the Chanting the Names of Mañjuśrī Mañjuśrīnāmasamgīti) upon the Sangha of Doling Monastery, offering the monks the invaluable opportunity to receive the lineage and blessings of the Dharma directly from a revered master.
Khen Rinpoche also blessed the monastery through Rabney, filling the sacred space with prayers, aspirations and profound spiritual blessings for the continued flourishing of the Buddha Dharma.
We express our heartfelt gratitude and deep respect to Khen Rinpoche for his precious presence, teachings and blessings. May his visit bring lasting benefit, peace and spiritual prosperity to the Sangha, the monastery and all sentient beings

དེ་བཞིན་༸མགོན་པོ་གང་གི་བླ་བྲང་ཡུག་གསུམ་མཚམས་ཁང་དུའང་། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་གསེར་རྟ་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་དབུ་བཞུགས་ཐོག་མཁན་སྤྲུལ་བླ་སློབ་འདུས་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོས་དེབ་ཆུང་དབུ་འབྱེད་ཀྱི་མཛད་སྒོ་གཟབ་རྒྱས་འཚོགས་ཡོད།

As stated in the Guhyasamaja Ta**ra, offering a single drop of oil to a single hair of the Guru yields far greater merit than making offerings to all the Buddhas of the three times.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of Kyabje Domang Yangthang Rinpoche (Kunzang Jigme Dechen Odsel Dorje)—our eternal refuge across all lives—Doling Monastery transcribed and compiled Rinpoche's final recorded oral advice into a commemorative booklet in Tibeten and English, to honor his supreme kindness and aid disciples in accumulating merit.
Marking this occasion, a grand book launch ceremony was held at Rinpoche’s Labrang in Yuksom, presided over by his regent, Serta Khyentse Rinpoche, alongside Khenpos, Tulkus, and the assembly of disciples.
