Dr. Masih Prakash Ekka was a leading lay member from Piska Nagri, Jharkhand. He rested in Christ on April 11,2021 at about 5 pm after a massive cardiac arrest. He was raised in a humble background and accepted Adventist faith at an early age and was baptized by Senior Pastor PD Kujur. He was educated at John's School Ranchi and later went to Falakata School. He completed his PhD in Academics and briefly worked in the East India Section Now Western Jharkhand Section. He was married to Suphal Ekka in 1979 who also earned a doctorate degree. They together envisioned and laid foundation of W. John Multipurpose High School and served the community and Church relentlessly. His enormous contribution to the Church in Jharkhand is a result of his faithfulness and dedication to God.He is survived by his dear wife, Elder son Melodious Pierson Ekka and daughter Pinky Praveenta Tigga and their families and grand children.
The funeral service is scheduled at 10 am on 12-4-2021 at Piska Nagri. Those arriving kindly follow covid 19- guidelines.
