Arulmigu mullaikottai muneeswarar kaligambal aalayam, amman Panaiyur village, heridetary hindu Temple located in Ramanathapuram about 15kms from the town. The temple which was originated 1940s, and it belongs to Tamil viswakarama people. The Moolavar is lord muneeswarar and 21 other deities around the temple. Each and every year during sivarathiri day, devotees from throughout tamilnadu assembles, and they worship lord muneeswara and other 21 deities, whole full night and till early morning . annadhaanam was served to all devotees for 3 days .Music & Dance programme are also conducted. The temple is managed by Mr.Ramaiyan and Mr.Muruganandam and Mr.KilpaukThiyagarajan, from chennai;
