କ୍ଷୟୀ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶ୍ରମ ନ କରି, ବରଂ ଯେଉଁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନଦାୟକ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ରହେ, ସେଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଶ୍ରମ କର; ସେହି ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବେ, କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପିତା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଈଶ୍ବର ମୁଦ୍ରାଙ୍କିତ କଲେ।

ଏଥିରେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସମାଧିସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣିବେ ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସତ୍କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଜୀବନର ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅସତ୍‌ କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡର ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବାହାର ହୋଇ ଆସିବେ, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି।

କାରଣ ପିତା ଯେପରି ସ୍ୱୟଂଜୀବୀ, ସେହିପରି ସେ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱୟଂଜୀବୀ ହେବାକୁ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ହେବାରୁ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଚାର କରିବାର ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ।

For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to the Son to have life in himself, and he gave him authority to do judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

ସତ୍ୟ ସତ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଯେ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ମୋହର ପ୍ରେରଣକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ, ସେ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ପୁଣି, ସେ ବିଚାରିତ ନ ହୋଇ ବରଂ ମୃତ୍ୟୁକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ଜୀବନରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଅଛି।

ପୁଣି, ପିତା ମଧ୍ୟ କାହାର ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ସମସ୍ତେ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାରେ ସମାଦର କରନ୍ତି, ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ସମାଦର କରିବେ, ସେଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଚାର କରିବାର ଅଧିକାର ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି। ଯେ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରେରଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସମାଦର କରେ ନାହିଁ।
ଯୋହନ 5:22-23
For not even the Father judges anyone, but he has given all judgment to the Son so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

ତେଣୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ସତ୍ୟ ସତ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ପୁତ୍ର ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ସେ ନିଜେ କିଛି ହିଁ କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରନ୍ତି, ପୁତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହିସବୁ ସେପ୍ରକାରେ କରନ୍ତି।”
ଯୋହନ 5:19
Therefore, Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do nothing from himself except only what he would see the Father doing, for whatever that one would do, these things also the Son does in the same way.”
