St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Yerwada, Pune.
Under the Holy Apostolic See of Antioch & All the East.

The Church is the only Jacobite Syrian Orthodox in Pune. Established in 1975, the main Altars are dedicated to Holy Mother Mary, St. George and St. Gregorios Geevarghese of Parumala. The Church is located in "Queen of the Deccan" city of Pune, Maharashtra and 3 km from Pune Railway Station and 6 km from Pune Airport.

Dear All,

The Feast of the Assumption of our Parish Patron, the Blessed Virgin Mary, will be celebrated on 14th and 15th August, 2026.

The Pune Parish warmly welcomes everyone to come together and be part of this blessed feast celebration. Let us gather as one parish family in prayer, fellowship, and thanksgiving, seeking the loving intercession and blessings of our Blessed Mother. 🙏🌹

🙏 O Holy Mother of God, pray for us.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
Intercede for us, your children, before your Son.
Cover our parish and our families with your mantle and protect us. Grant healing to the sick, comfort to those who grieve, and conversion to sinners.

This year, our Chief Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Abey Steephen, Vicar of St. Stephen's Jacobite Cathedral, Manjanikara.

On 15th August, the Holy Tri-Mass will be celebrated by our Chief Celebrant Rev. Fr. Abey Stephen, along with Rev. Fr. Jim John and myself.

May God bless all our feast preparations and guide us throughout these blessed days.

May the intercession of our Blessed Mother bring peace, joy, and abundant blessings to our parish and to each of our families.
