This was also the day when Lord Krishna performed His Damodara childhood pastime of breaking the pots of yogurt and letting Himself be bound by Mother Yashoda. Devotees remember these pastimes during this auspicious month known as Karttika.

Laxmi ji actually never reside at 1 place for long time but wherever there is lord vishnu, laxmi ji automatically comes because he is husband if godess of fortune and she always want to serve Lord Vishnu.
Hence in this Diwali day never ever miss out chanting of hare Krishna mahamantra and performing of Damodar Aarti. Which is recommended as per Vedic Injunction.

Bhagvad gita Shloka Recitation by Little Devotee Anushree on the occasion of Aadhik mass Pournima.

1. यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति |
तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति || BG 6.30

Meaning- : For those who see me everywhere and see all things in me, I am never lost, nor are they ever lost to me.

2. आत्मौपम्येन सर्वत्र समं पश्यति योऽर्जुन |
सुखं वा यदि वा दु:खं स योगी परमो मत: || BG 6.32

Meaning- : I regard them to be perfect yogis who see the true equality of all living beings and respond to the joys and sorrows of others as if they were their own.

3. पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति |
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मन: || BG 9.26

Meaning-: If one offers to Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water, I delightfully partake of that article offered with love by My devotee in pure consciousness.
