Mata Mahalakshmi

Mata Mahalakshmi has eyes like lotus petals hence she is called “Padmakshaya.” Mata Mahalakshmi as Mata sita portrayed the side of a woman that is kind, understanding, loving without conditions, wise, intelligent and a bearer of strong character. As Kolhasur mardini and Maa Satyabhama, she teaches us that the same loving woman can be fierce and brings the end of all miseries. She gives us sumati and prosperity so we can lead good lives through our labour.

Mata Paravati

Mata Parvati as Annapurna Maa feeds us all like a loving mother. As Mahishaasur Mardini, she ends all our sorrows and miseries. As Kaali Maa, she teaches us that one should never underestimate the power of a woman and that she can take up the most fierce forms when provoked.

Mata Sarawasti

Without knowledge, the world is a chaos hence Mata Saraswati blesses us with knowledge and talents through which we all communicate beyond social barriers. As the giver of education and talents, she teaches us that a woman can be the source of infinite creativity.

How is it possible for a mere mortal human like me to compare the forces that run the world, the forces that have built me? My mothers are equal in beauty and character and are the very essence of beauty and womanhood ❤

Knowledge, bravery and Prosperity, all are interconnected and none takes precedence over another, hence to sum it up, the Tridevi, the three eternal, ever loving mothers are the most beautiful beings in this universe 🙏🏻❤

Shiva epitomizes consciousness(Purusha): the masculine principle. Shakti alludes to nature(Prakriti), effective movement of power and energy: the feminine principle.
This sacred union can be deemed representative of the destination of one's transcendental journey.

Detaching the soul from the mind constitutes the duality of our daily existence. Only when merged as one, can there be logical understanding of productive movement and creation. When this occurs, duty of Dharma prevails as we begin to recognize our purpose of being, as is borne within ourselves.

Shiv Shakti is the combined realization, balanced between the unchanging, unmoving, encompassing soul, and the ever changing and dynamic mind, that ultimately transforms into spiritual enlightenment.

Aadi Karthigai • ஆடி கிருத்திகை
The Krittika nakshatra or Karthigai natchathiram (கார்த்திகை நட்சத்திரம்) of the Tamil month of Aadi is dedicated to Lord Muruga (Karthikeya / Subramanya), son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi. The festival celebrated on this day is known as Aadi Kaarthigai (Tamil: ஆடி கிருத்திகை), also spelled Aadi Kiruthigai or Aadi Krithikai. It is predominantly a Tamil festival popular among Tamil population.

Today is Aadi Karthigai
Aadi Pooram on August 01, Monday and Aadi Perukku which falls on August 03, Wednesday are two other major festivals celebrated during Aadi month.

Karthigai or Karthikai nakshatra comes every month and such days are marked by special pujas and rituals at all Lord Murugan temples. However, the Karthigai nakshatram of Aadi month receives special interest and is considered highly auspicious, because, the Sun starts its southward journey on Karka Sankranti ie., July 16. This marks the end of uttarayana period and the beginning of dakshinayana punyakalam.

The events of Lord Muruga's birth is elaborated in the Skanda Purana, where it is said that Lord Shiva created Muruga from his Third eye in the form of six flames. These flames in the form of babies were raised by six celestial nymphs or maidens known as 'Karthigai Pengal' at Saravana poikai. Lord Murugan was merged into One from these six children by Goddess Parvathi.

As reward for their selfless service, the divine duo - Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, blessed the Karthigai Pengal with immortality. Also, worshiping them will be seen as worshiping Lord Murugan himself. Thus, by honouring Karthikai star one is honouring Lord Karthikaya as well.

Special poojas and abhishekams are held at all Lord Murugan temples on the day of Aadi Karthigai. Elaborate functions and special poojas are conducted at Palani, Thiruttani, Swamimalai, Thiruparangundram, Tiruchendur and Palamuthircholai. These six temples, called Aaru padai veedu (ஆறுபடை வீடுகள்) is considered the abode of Lord Murugan. Thousands of devotees visit these temples during Aadi Karthikai. Pilgrims throng the Thiruthani Sri Subramanya Swamy temple and offer Kavadi for Lord Murugan.

यमयातना से मुक्ति देने वाली यमुनाजी!!!!!!!!

वृन्दावन धाम को वास भलो, जहां पास बहै यमुना पटरानी ।
जो जन नहाय के ध्यान धरै, वैकुण्ठ मिलै तिनको रजधानी ।।
चारहूं वेद बखान करै अस संत, मुनीश, गुणी मनमानी ।
यमुना यमदूतन टारत है, भव तारत है श्रीराधिका रानी ।।

श्रीयमुनाजी का प्राकट्य और स्वरूप
श्रीराधा माधव अंग ते प्रगट भई इक वाम ।
नख ते कटि लौं राधिका, कटि ते शिख लौं श्याम ।।

यमुनाजी का प्राकट्य श्रीठाकुरजी और स्वामिनीजी के श्रीअंग से हुआ है, इसलिए चरणों से कमर तक श्रीराधा और कमर से सिर तक श्यामसुन्दर का स्वरूप है—

श्याम संग श्याम ह्वै रही श्री यमुने ।
सुरति श्रम बिन्दु ते, सिंवु सी बह चली ।
मानो आतुर अली रहे न भवने ।।

अष्टछाप के कवि गोविन्दस्वामी का कहना है कि यमुनाजी के जल का रंग श्याम है और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का रंग भी श्याम है इस प्रकार श्याम के साथ वे श्यामा हो रही हैं । यमुनाजी का प्राकट्य ‘श्रम जल बिन्दु’ से माना गया है । भगवान श्रीकृष्ण जब स्वामिनीजी (श्रीराधा) के साथ रास विहार करते हैं, उस समय जो पसीना ठाकुरजी और श्रीराधा को आता है उसे ही ‘श्रम जल बिन्दु‘ कहा गया है और वही यमुनाजी का स्वरूप है । वहां से वह पृथ्वी पर जल रूप में पधारीं तो अपने भवन में नहीं रहीं, मानो अपने प्रियतम भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से मिलने के लिए अति आतुरता के साथ दौड़ी जा रही हैं ।

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के चरणकमलों की दुर्लभ रेणु (धूल) प्रदान करती हैं यमुनाजी
श्रीयमुनाजी का गोलोक में नाम विरजा नदी (सखी) है, उसमें ठाकुरजी स्नान करते व जल विहार करते हैं । जब वे यमुना रूप में भूमि पर आती हैं तो अपने साथ भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के चरणकमल की रेणु (धूलि) ले आती हैं । यमुनाजी में जल कम व रेणु ज्यादा होती है । इस प्रकार जो वैष्णव यमुनाजल में स्नान, उसका सेवन व पूजन करते हैं उनको भगवान के चरणकमलों की दुर्लभ रेणु सहज ही प्राप्त हो जाती है । इससे पुष्टि मार्गीय वैष्णवों को अलौकिक दिव्य देह की प्राप्त होती है जिससे वह भगवान की दिव्य लीलाओं में भाग लेने का अधिकारी हो जाता है ।

यम की यातना से मुक्ति देने वाली यमुनाजी
यमुनाजी सूर्यपुत्री हैं और यमराज सूर्यपुत्र हैं । अत: यमुनाजी यमराज की बहिन हैं । यमुनाजल का भावपूर्वक पान करने से यमयातना नहीं होती है । यमुनाजी के नाम का यही अर्थ है कि यम + नाहें अर्थात् यमराज की हिम्मत नहीं कि वे यमुनाजी के भक्तों को यमलोक में ले जाकर नरक में डाल दें। यमराज अपनी बहिन के पुत्रों को किस प्रकार नरक में डाल सकते हैं ?

श्रीगदाधरदास ने लिखा है–’ऊजर देश कियो भ्राता कौ, तुम परसत उत कोऊ न जाई ।’ यमुनाजी ने अपने भाई यमराज का घर उजाड़ दिया है । यमुनाजी के सेवन से जीव यमलोक में जाता ही नहीं । अत: यमलोक सूना हो रहा है । यद्यपि यमुनाजी पतितों का खुलकर पक्षपात करती हैं, फिर भी वे आनन्दकन्द श्रीकृष्ण को बहुत प्रिय लगती हैं ।

कहते हैं कि यमराज ने अपनी बहिन यमुना को वर दिया था कि जो भाई-बहिन यमद्वितीया (कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीया) को यमुना-स्नान करेंगे उन्हें यमयातना नहीं भोगनी पड़ेगी । इस दिन मथुरा में विश्रामघाट पर भाई-बहिनों द्वारा हाथ पकड़ कर यमुना-स्नान करने का बहुत माहात्म्य हैं ।

यमुनाजी की कृपा से लौकिक-अलौकिक सभी सुखों की प्राप्ति!!!!!!!@

भक्त प्रतिपाल जंजाल टारें ।
अपने रस रंग में संग राखत सदा सर्वदा,
जोई श्रीयमुनाजी को नाम उच्चारें ।।
इनकी कृपा अब कहां लगि बरनियें,
जैसे राखत जननी पुत्र बारे ।
‘श्रीविट्ठल’ गिरिधरन संग विहरत,
भक्त को एक छिन ना बिसारें ।

पुष्टि मार्गीय भक्तों का पालन यमुनाजी ही करती हैं । अपने भक्तों की विपत्तियों का निवारण वे पहिले से ही कर देती हैं और उनके सांसारिक जंजालों को हटाकर अपने रस रंग में रंग देती हैं । जो वैष्णव सदैव यमुनाजी के नाम का उच्चारण करते रहते हैं, उन्हें वे अपने समान श्रीकृष्ण की लीलाओं के रस में डुबोए रहती हैं । जिस प्रकार माता अपने अबोध बालक के लालन-पालन का ध्यान रखती है उसी प्रकार यमुनाजी पुष्टि मार्गीय भक्तों का सम्पूर्ण दायित्व अपने ऊपर ले लेती हैं । भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के साथ लीला विहार करते समय भी यमुनाजी अपने भक्तों को अपने साथ रखकर उसी रस का दान प्रभु से करवाती हैं जिस रस का पान वह स्वयं करती हैं ।

यमुनाजी के बिना नहीं होती पुष्टि भक्ति की प्राप्ति!!!!!!!!

यमुनाजी अलौकिक निधि भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की प्राप्ति कराने वाली हैं । जो वैष्णव अष्टप्रहर यमुनाजी के नामों का उच्चारण करता है उसे वह भगवान की निकुंज लीला में प्रवेश करा देती हैं । क्योंकि भगवान श्रीराधाकृष्ण यमुनाजी के तट पर ही रास विहार करते हैं । रास लीला में प्रवेश केवल गोपियों को है किन्तु कृष्णप्रिया श्रीयमुनाकी कृपा से यह अलौकिक फल भी वैष्णव प्राप्त कर लेता है कि उसे भगवान का दिव्य वेणुनाद भी सुनाई देने लगता है ।

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की रासलीला में प्रवेश और उसका दर्शन—यही पुष्टि भक्ति का फल है जिसकी प्राप्ति यमुनाजी की कृपा से सहज ही हो जाती है ।

ॐ श्यामामम्भोजनेत्रां सघनघनरुचिं रत्नमंजीरकूजत्
कांचीकेयूरयुक्तां कनकमणिमये बिभ्रतीं कुण्डले द्वे ।
भ्राजच्छ्रीनीलवस्तां स्फुरदमलचलद्धारभारां मनोज्ञां
ध्यायेन्मार्तण्डपुत्रीं तनुकिरणचयोद्दीप्तदीपाभिरामाम् ।।

अर्थात्—जो श्याम वर्ण की और सोलह वर्ष की अवस्था वाली हैं, जिनके नेत्र खिले हुए कमल की शोभा को छीन लेते हैं, मेघ के समान जिनकी नील कान्ति है, जो रत्नों से बने और बजते हुए नूपुर और झनकारती हुई करधनी व केयूर आदि आभूषण पहने हैं, जिनके कानों में सोने और मणियों के कुण्डल हैं, चमकती हुई नीली साड़ी पर गजामुक्ता के हार पहने बहुत सुन्दर दिखाई देती हैं, जिनके शरीर की आभा जलती हुई दीपमाला के समान है, उन सूर्यनन्दिनी यमुनाजी का मैं ध्यान करता हूँ ।

Laxmi Mantra for Fortune and Wealth – Chanting Rules and Benefits
Goddess Lakshmi is considered to be the goddess of wealth and prosperity. A person who attains blessings the goddess Lakshmi gets freedom from all kind of sufferings, poverty and troubles of life. She represents wealth, prosperity, beauty and gentleness. She belongs to the highest power of the goddess. She is the form of fortune and originator of power, who generates attraction, attachments and greed. A person who worships her and recites her prayers gets relief from sufferings in life.
Goddess Lakshmi should be worshipped everyday. Observing Vaibhav lakshmi fast on friday is considered to be very beneficial in terms of wealth, fortune and prosperity. The devotee should worship the goddess with white flowers, white sandalwood powder, rice and offer kheer as prasad which is distributed among all the members of the family after the puja. The observer should eat meal only once in a day. This fast is ritually kept for either 11 or 21 fridays. He is blessed with prosperity, fortune and fame.
The prasad is made with clove, sugar crystals, cardamom, kapur etc and offered to the goddess. The observer should also offer fruits to to the goddess as per his potency and light lamp in front of the idol. He who is blessed by the goddess achieves tremendous gain and wealth. On Deepavali Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped by everyone with full faith and dedication. It is believed that worshipping the goddess in Diwali takes away all the sorrows. Chant “Om Mahalakshmaye Namah” while offering prayers to the goddess on this auspicious day.
The form of goddess Lakshmi is explained in a very beautifying way in various hindu scriptures. Worshipping the goddess on Friday eradicates all problems from life such as poverty, obstacles in business and job, unexpected expenses and losses etc. One can attain the blessings of the goddess by worshipping her with full faith by chanting mantras.
The observer should spread a red cloth on a raised wooden platform and establish the idol of the goddess. Bathe the idol with raw milk and Ganga jal and offer flowers and red sandalwood to the idol. Worship the goddess while chanting the below given mantra for prosperity and happiness.
Lakshmi Pooja Mantra
“Om Shri Mahalakshmaye Namah। and “Om Hreem Shree Kreem Kalin Shree Mahalakshmi Mam Greh Dhanam Puraya Puraya Chintya Durya Swaha ।”
The observer should also chant the name of the goddess 108 times with rosary while sitting on a clean platform. Worshipping the goddess according to the rituals mentioned in the ancient scriptures, helps the person gain prosperity and gains. Friday is considered to be an auspicious day to worship Vaibhav Lakshmi. Also, reciting Shree Sutak Path gives fruitful results.

Mount Kailash is actually the Sahasra Chakra in our body, which is center of Supreme Consciousness (SHIVA). When Kundalini reaches there She meets shiva. The physical counterpart is Mount Kailash, where the energy of Shiva is centred in material earth.

According to Hinduism, Shiva, the god of destruction and regeneration, resides at the summit of a legendary mountain named Kailash. Mount Kailash is regarded in many sects of Hinduism as Paradise, the ultimate destination of souls and the spiritual center of the world.

According to a description in the Puranas, Mount Kailash's four faces are made of crystal, ruby, gold, and lapis lazuli; it is the pillar of the world; rises 84,000 leagues high; is the center of the world mandala; and is located at the heart of six mountain ranges symbolizing a lotus. From it flow four rivers, which stretch to the four quarters of the world and divide the world into four regions.

This legendary mountain has long been identified with the striking peak in the Himalayas that now bears its name. Shiva is therefore believed to dwell at its summit. The importance of this holy mountain in Hinduism is reflected, among other places, at the famous Ellora Caves in India, where the largest and most important rock-carved temple is dedicated to Mount Kailash.

Lord Shiva resides on the summit of Mount Kailash and sits in a state of meditation, thus this peak is regarded as the ultimate destination for attaining spiritual peace and Moksha. Not only Hinduism, Buddism, Jainism and many other religions hold Mount Kailash as most sacred place in earth. It is believed that one who completes the pilgrimage around Mount Kailash is said to get relieved from bad karmas and past sins. 🏔

Since it is the most auspicious period, one can take advantage of it by performing Shravan Maas Shiva Puja. During this month, the cosmos is super charged with Shiva tattvas (Shiva elements) that purify the mind, the senses, the body and the self (Soul) through the rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Devotees observe austerities, fasts and prayers in this holy month of Shravan. This is the time when Lord Shiva drank the poisonous Halahala that emanated from Samudra Manthan between the Devas and Asuras for the quest of the Nectar (ambrosia). During the Manthan, the ocean produced lots of valuables such as gemstones, Goddesses riches, cows, bows, the Moon, conch etc. which were taken up by gods and demons. Fourteen different gems emerged from the ocean which were divided them.

When the Ocean produced the deadliest poison called Halahala, all of them cringed back as it was too dangerous to destroy the universes. It was Shiva who decided to drink it to save the world. His devout wife saw him taking Halahala, she at once held His throat so that the poison wouldn’t go down. As a result His throat turned blue and He was called Neelkantha.

One must engage in devotional activities such as kirtan, Sadhanas, meditation or sing bhajans at home or in Shiva temples. One must visit Shiva temples during this month. Each day of this month carries spiritual significance.

Devotees sing and dance after offering their prayer to Lord Shiva during the Shravan Somvars , the month of fastint through the country. In Hindu calendar Shravan month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Whole month is considered auspicious to seek blessing of Lord Shiva. All Mondays or Somwar which fall during Shravan month are considered highly auspicious for fasting and known as Shravan Somwar or Sawan Somwar Vrats. ✨
