Sacred Heart Basilica Youth Movement Sacred Heart Basilica Youth Movement (SHBYM) is catholic youth Movement from Sacred Heart Basilica, In 2010,first year celebration was held on December 11th.

Sacred Heart Youth Movement (SHYM) is a Catholic youth Movement from Puducherry. In the year of 2009, November 08 we have started our first youth Mass and youth movement in our Parish. At that time more than 220 members were joined in our youth movement. From 2009-2010, we have done more activities like prayer meet for youth, taking Sunday catechism class for our parish Children. And also we went

to Mother Theresa Convent to help the Children who have affected by Cancer, we clean their rooms and gave medicine to them. On that day we celebrated our Parish Priest birthday, In that function we have launched our first website for Youth Movement.More 300 youths have been participated in that. On Jan 5, 2011 we have started conducting youth meeting on every Wednesday. These young men and women were largely socialistic in their ideology ,pacific in their aim and humanitarian in their program. This is possible because sensitive and catchy young men are more easily moved by idealism more spontaneously respond to new ideas. We were conducting blood camps in the regular interval of six months. We were trying to become a role models to all other movement in our Parish.
