One such sacred institution is Sri Sadguru Samarth Narayana Ashram & Goshala, Upparapalle.
Established in 1990 by Sri Sadguru Gopalaswamy Garu under the divine command of his Guru, Sri Sadguru Samarth Narayana Maharaj, the 11th successor of the Samarth Peeth founded by Sri Samarth Ramadasa Swami — Guru of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj — this Ashram stands as a living center of Dharma.
What began with one cow, Sri Pratapa Maruthi Alayam, and Nitya Annadanam has today grown into a sacred responsibility:
• Daily Annadanam without interruption • Daily Pujas and Abhishekas in multiple temples • Continuous Rama Nama Prachara • Annual 40-day Aradhana • Protection and care of nearly 300 cows
Three hundred cows require daily fodder, medical care, shelter, and constant service. Annadanam feeds countless devotees and visitors. Yagnas and Vedic rituals are performed regularly for the preservation of Dharma.
All of this runs only on voluntary offerings.
There is no corporate funding. No commercial activity. Only faith. Only devotion. Only support from devotees like you.
