This is a ritual of the of Shrīvishnu (idol of Balkrushna) with the Holy basil (tulsī) plant. This ritual is performed on any of the days between the day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month Kārtik to the day (Pournimā) of Kartik. A day prior to the marriage, the tulsī-vrundāvan (a special structure in which the basil plant is grown) is painted and decorated. Sugarcane and flowers are offered on the vrundavan; tamarind and gooseberry (amla) are kept at its base.

The marriage ritual (vivāh) is performed in the . The vowed observances (vrat) which are observed during the consecutive Hindu lunar months of Āshādha, Shrāvan, Bhādrapad, Āshwin and (Chaturmas), are fulfilled on twelfth day of bright fortnight of Kartik when the tulsi marriage is done. Then the items which were restricted during the previous months, are first donated to a Brāhmin and then eaten.

The temple committee of “SHREE NEELKANTH BRAHMESHWAR VANADURGA TRUST” has decided to reconstruct the temple, which was last constructed by them in 2001.The committee has decided to bring around the glory of this temple and has planned to reconstruct the garbagrihams, mahamandapams and the facsimiles of 12 Jyotirling which is a unique combination by itself.

On the auspicious day of dussehra the foundation stone for the construction for the same was laid on 30th September 2017
At 11 a.m.
