ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Today, the universal Catholic Church keeps the solemnity of the Feast of Pentecost - the birthday of the church. Happy Feast to you all.

2. We thank the zone members for organizing the liturgy of today’s masses, the choir groups and also we thank the power point presenters. God bless you all.

3. Our new pastoral/catechetical year 2026-27 will begin in June. Those interested to join as catechists, kindly give your names in the church office during this week.

4. Catechism classes in our church, will resume on 7th June, for the year 2026-27. The inaugural mass will be on 14th June, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Registration forms for new enrolment are available with the catechists and in the church office. Those children born before 31st December 2021 will be enrolled. Parents kindly take note of the same.

5. An orientation programme will be held on 30th June 2026 at 6:30 p.m. for all our parishioners to introduce the vision and purpose of the Women’s Cell. The session will be conducted by Fr. Jorge Fernandes along with two members of the Core group of the Women’s Cell in Goa. Those who are interested can submit their names in the church office by 20th June 2026.

6. Next Sunday, 31st May, 2026, our parish youth will go for a picnic-outing. Bus will leave the church premises at 9:00 a.m. Those youth registered for the picnic, kindly be present at 8:45 a.m in the church compound.

7. Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Monday, 8th June at 7:00 p.m.

8. A Marian Night Vigil will be held in our church on 5th June at 9:30 pm to 6:30 am on 6th June. We request you to participate in this night vigil.

2. May 13, Wednesday, Rosary will be recited at the Grotto of our Lady of Fatima, in our church compound, at 6:00 pm. Legion Mary group will conduct the Rosary. Kindly participate in the Rosary. After the Rosary, piece of cake will be served. This year our Legion Mary group completes 37 years of inception. Therefore, our Legion Mary members have offered a thanksgiving mass in the morning at 7:00 am. Let us pray for all our legionaries for good health and also let us pray for the repose of the souls of all the deceased members.

3. The Missionary Families for Christ (MFC) is conducting a residential camp for youth, aged between 13 to 20 years from 15th to 17 May, 2026, at Lar de Estudantes, Panjim. For details, kindly refer to the notice board.

4. The Diocesan Catechetical Centre, Old Goa is organizing a Theological and Pastoral formation course for the Laity -“Understanding the Catechism of the Catholic Church” at Pastoral Institute, St. Pius X, Old Goa. The course will be in conducted in English. For details, kindly refer to the notice board.

2. Holy Family Church & Loving Hearts Goa in collaboration with North Goa District Hospital, Asilo is organizing Blood Donation Camp today, 26th April from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Church Hall.

3. The Christian Family Movement is organizing a program on Self Mentoring for couples and for individuals above the age of 20 on 3rd May, Sunday from 3:45 pm to 6:30 pm, in our Parish Hall. Kindly see the notice board for more details.

4. 1st May is First Friday. There will be Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament at 6:00 pm followed by mass at 6:30 pm.

2. Today is Divine Mercy Sunday – a day we reflect on the great Compassion, Mercy, Forgiveness and Love of our Mighty God. We wish you a very Happy Feast.

3. On Friday, 17th April 2026, seventy nine (79) candidates/youngsters of our parish will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. His Excellency Auxiliary Bishop Simião Purificação Fernandes will preside over the mass and administer the Sacrament of Confirmation at 4:00 pm. Kindly pray for them and participate in the Holy Mass.

3. Programme of the Holy week:
2nd April, Maundy Thursday, the Church inaugurates the sacred Easter Triduum:

+ 5:00 p.m. The Solemn Eucharistic Celebration with washing of the Feet (Bilingual – Church compound)
+ 7:00 p.m. in English (church compound)
