St. Mary's Church, Thachapuzha

St. Mary's Church, Thachapuzha St. Mary's Church is a Parish Church Situated in Thachapuzha, 4 kms from Ponkunnam, Kottayam The practice continued for some couple of years.

Mary's Church was an auxiliary church to the Parish of Sacred Heart Church, Chenkal founded on 30th December 1989. From then, the Church was functioning as a small church with masses on Sunday evenings. By the arrival of Fr. John Vettuvayalil, the church has seen drastic changes. Masses were started on all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Then after years On 30th December 2013, after 24 years, the

Church has attained the status of an Independent Parish including families from the surrounding parishes. This page gives Updates about the Church and its proceedings.
