Our Church, Hosanna Assembly of God traces back to an interesting history. Having its inception in the early 1980s, the Church never found its way to its form today until 1994. Asir, the Presbyter of Pondicherry Assembly of God Churches, for having the vision and burden to plant this AG church in the North-east part of the town - Muthialpet, Pondicherry. He started this church in a rented house on a Christmas Eve. The church grew steadily by the Lord's grace and through the prayers of many saints to what it is today. The land where the church is today was purchased in 1998. Allen Prosper was appointed as the Pastor of the Church on 11 July 1999. Under his leadership, the church today was built on want of more space. The Church moved to this campus on 21 February 2001. Amidst challenges and troubles, the Lord blessed the Church and more people were added to the congregation. The parsonage was built on the first floor of the Church in 2002. In 2006 the second Tamil service was started. In 2007 on New Year's Eve, English service was started. More ministries catering to the kids, youth, women and discipleship training were also started. All glory be to God and thanks to the pioneers of this ministry not the least the believers who toiled, prayed and extended their support had made this history a possibility and not just a dream.
