In his latest blog post, our beloved Guruji Rishiputra Balayogi Dr. Anandaji beautifully unpacks the true meaning of the 2026 International Day of Yoga theme: "Yoga for Healthy Ageing."

Modern society often treats growing older as a time of slowing down and losing capability. But Guruji reminds us of a much brighter truth. From the perspective of Rishiculture Ashtanga (Gitananda) Yoga, ageing is actually a golden opportunity! It is a season for growing in wisdom, expanding our minds, and deepening our inner peace.

As Guruji’s Guru-Father, Yogamaharishi Dr.Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharajji, always taught: "Yoga is the science and art of right-use-ness of body, emotions, and mind."

"Yoga may not only add years to life, but more importantly, it adds life to the years."One of the greatest misconceptions of modern society is that ageing is synonymous with decline. We have come to accept the idea that growing older inevitably means becoming weaker, less capable, more dependent, an...

In the art and science of Yoga, each asana is a gateway to deeper awareness, balance, and transformation.

In this inspiring blog Guruji demonstrates how the ancient wisdom of yoga can nurture strength, flexibility, vitality, and inner peace. From grounding poses to expansive movements, every posture becomes a journey into greater harmony of body, mind, and spirit.

✨ Explore the deeper dimensions of asana and discover why yoga is truly a way of life.

When most people think of yoga, they think of stretching. Images of flexible bodies bending into impressive postures dominate popular perceptions of yoga practice. While stretching is certainly a component of asana, reducing yoga to mere physical exercise misses its profound purpose. In the classical...

Wonderful feedback from participant in the Sannidhi Yoga Nidraa course.

"I experienced the Yoga Nidraa session today, and it was truly wonderful. The gentle, step-by-step guidance led me into a state of deep stillness, presence, and lightness. Apart from a slight spontaneous movement of my fingers once or twice, I remained completely relaxed and absorbed in the practice.

By the end of the session, all feelings of tiredness and sleepiness had disappeared. I felt refreshed, re-energized, and mentally alert. The soothing flow of the guidance and the depth of understanding behind it made the experience profoundly touching and transformative.

My heartfelt gratitude to Guruji and Anandhiji for sharing this beautiful practice with such wisdom, compassion, and authenticity. Thank you for this deeply rejuvenating experience."

On 15 August 1947, as India celebrated Independence, Mahatma Gandhi was not among the crowds rejoicing.

While the nation marked its freedom, Gandhi was in a modest house in Beliaghata, Kolkata, fasting, praying, spinning khadi, and working tirelessly to quell the communal violence unleashed by Partition. Saddened by the division of the country, he chose service over celebration.

It is a powerful reminder that those most responsible for great achievements are often not the ones standing in the spotlight. They are usually still engaged in the work, protecting what has been achieved and caring for those left vulnerable.

The true architect is often absent from the celebration, allowing others to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
