What does Jesus call people who obey His commands?

Jesus said, “You are My FRIENDS “if” you do whatever I command you.” (John‬ ‭15:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

You are a friend of Jesus IF you do what He commands. What if you profess Christ and do not do what He commands?

What if you don’t love someone? What if you are practicing adultery or having affair outside marriage? What if you dishonor your parents? What if you are practicing sin, etc…?

Then you are NOT a friend of Jesus!

Jesus said you are His friend “IF” you obey His commands. Jesus never said you are His friend for saying a “sinners prayer”, or going to church or by singing “I am a friend of God,” or because your Leaders brother(Pastors) says you are.

We MUST obey His commands if we are going to call ourselves a friend of Jesus!

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments (1 John 2:3 NASB)

Jesus had the chance to be delivered from that horrible suffering, yet He did not care about His life and kept everyone in His love until His very death.
