On the resolution passed by Five beloveds, Guru Gobind Singh left Chamkaur Garhi. The Guru clapped and proclaimed ‘Pir-e-Hind may Rawad’ - Guru is leaving. Passing through the jungle, the Guru reached Machhiwara.
Gani Khan and Nabi Khan planned and dressed the Guru as ‘Uch- Da-Pir’ (ਉਚੱ ਦਾ ਪੀਰ -ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ) to take him to a safer place.
In painting, the Guru has been dressed as Uch-Da-Pir. Gani Khan, Nabi Khan, Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharm Singh, Bhai Man Singh carried the palanquin with due respect. The Guru’s Persian tutor Qazi Pir-Mohammad and Mughal interrogator Dilwar Khan are also shown.
When they reached near Ghulal, they were stopped at police Check post. Dilwar Khan, the officer incharge interrogated them to check the identity of the Uch-Da-Pir.
Dilawar Khan asked to partake their food. The Khans told them the Pir was observing Roza( fast). Then he asked the accompanying Sikhs to partake the food. Guru told them to partake food after purify with Kirpan. Kipan Bhent Gurdwara exists at that place.
Still the Dilwar Khan was not satisfied, so he called Qazi Pir-Mohammad to identify the Pir. Qazi was Guru’s Persian teacher at Anandpur Sahib. He verified that the Pir is from ‘Uch’ a place in Pakistan.
They carried the Guru from Machhiwara to Alamgir, where the Guru left the Manji. He issued Hukamnama saying that Gani Khan and Nabi Khan are Guru’s Farzands (sons). This Hukamnama is preserved at Gani Khan Mani Khan Gurdwara at Machhiwara.
