Parapallil Sree Mahadeva temple and Sarpa Kavu is situated on the left bank of the Pampa river in a village called Cherukole, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. This ancient kavu was renovated in 2007 and build new temple for Sri Mahadevan and Sri Parvathy, keeping the Sarpa Kavu as it is.The installation ceremony was performed on 30th of March 2007 by Brahmasree Puthumana Sreedharan Namboothiri. Th

e deities worshiped at the Kavu are Sri Mahadevan,Sri Parvathy,Sri Nagaraja,Nagayakshi Amma,Rakshas and Yogeeshwaran. The Kavu now stands in its full might, and sanctity, having regained its past glory, giving blessings to all those who come in search of peace, mercy and prosperity.
