Discernment!!

“O LORD, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.” Psalms 119:169 (NLT)

Devotional!

There are many things that we need in life, but perhaps one of the most important is discernment. Things are seldom the way they appear. How important is it then to know the mind of God when we are in various situations? Solomon told us in Proverbs that we need to seek for wisdom. Wem 7 need to go after it like we would golden treasure. James writes that if we lack wisdom all we need to do is ask God for it. What a gift. What love that God would not leave us here clueless! The Psalmist asks God to “give me the discerning mind you promised.” God promised, are you asking? Today, stop and seek the wisdom of God. Ask Him for discernment in all you do.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Let's Pray:

Heavenly Father God, how I need Your Wisdom, How I need Your understanding. Gracious Father God, I desire Your discernment to see me through this day. Merciful Father God, I Thank You, for Your Love and the Promise that You, will give me the discerning mind You Promised. In Jesus," Precious And Mighty Blessed And Holy Name. I Prayed. Amén!! Amén!!

Meditate:
God gives me discernment!
Picture yourself in a difficult situation. You need wisdom and discernment. Feel the tension mount. Sense panic grip your heart. What do you do? Visualize yourself praying and see God come to you and give you discernment. Feel the peace that comes with understanding. Sense the joy as you follow His lead. Affirm, “God gives me discernment!” Amén!! And Amén!

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!!

Romans 5:18 (NKJV) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Romans 5:18 (MSG) Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life!

When Adam sinned, the whole world got messed up. His sin was high treason: giving rulership of planet earth to the outlaw, satan. We see what happened to the animal kingdom, the plants, and even humans. Where there was once love one for another, now there is hate. Where the lion once laid with the lamb, now the lion eats the lamb. Where plants were once so full of beauty, now we have thorns. We can dwell on this in life and get depressed, or we can look to Jesus.

Adam brought judgment and condemnation, but Jesus brought justification and life. Adam got us all into trouble, but Jesus got us into life. That is why Paul stated in Romans 8:1-2, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.”

For those of us that are in Christ Jesus, we are the freest people that have ever walked the earth, since Adam before the fall. Because of Jesus, we are free from the law of sin and death. You might say, “Man, you talk about Jesus a lot.” You have got that right! Without Jesus, I am lost in my sins. Without Jesus, I have a one-way ticket to hell. But because of Jesus, I am saved and redeemed. I can live a life of victory and abundance. I can have peace and joy. He even tasted death for me, so I know that if the rapture does not come in my lifetime, He will be there to guide me to my eternal home. So yes, I will say it till I die: “IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!”

It is all about Jesus! He has saved me and redeemed me. He has restored me and given me abundance of life. Oh, how I love Jesus! Amén!! And Amén!!

And will manifest myself to him.
— John 14:21

The Lord Jesus gives special revelations of himself to his people. Even if Scripture did not declare this, there are many of the children of God who could testify the truth of it from their own experience. They have had manifestations of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in a peculiar manner, such as no mere reading or hearing could afford. In the biographies of eminent saints, you will find many instances recorded in which Jesus has been pleased, in a very special manner to speak to their souls, and to unfold the wonders of his person; yea, so have their souls been steeped in happiness that they have thought themselves to be in heaven, whereas they were not there, though they were well nigh on the threshold of it—for when Jesus manifests himself to his people, it is heaven on earth; it is paradise in embryo; it is bliss begun. Especial manifestations of Christ exercise a holy influence on the believer’s heart. One effect will be humility. If a man says, “I have had such-and-such spiritual communications, I am a great man,” he has never had any communion with Jesus at all; for “God hath respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.” He does not need to come near them to know them, and will never give them any visits of love. Another effect will be happiness; for in God’s presence there are pleasures for evermore. Holiness will be sure to follow. A man who has no holiness has never had this manifestation. Some men profess a great deal; but we must not believe any one unless we see that his deeds answer to what he says. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked.” He will not bestow his favours upon the wicked: for while he will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he respect an evil doer. Thus there will be three effects of nearness to Jesus—humility, happiness, and holiness. May God give them to thee, Christian! Amén!! And Amén!!

Trust God!!

“Praise the LORD! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.” Psalms 28:6-8 (NLT)

Devotional!

It is hard to relax. I mean really relax. Why is it? We say we have faith and yet we are wound up tighter than a spring ready to snap at the next bit of pressure. Perhaps it is because when it comes to living life on our own, we are way over our head. We try, but life is so complicated. There are so many variables. But the truth is, God never intended us to live life all by ourself. He wants us to depend on Him. He wants us to live with His love and mercy helping us along the way. This is where fellowship with God is born. When we acknowledge that He is God, that He loves us and we begin to communicate with Him and share our inner struggles and needs, He hears us and gives us the help we need. God is pleased. And so are we. David knew this and proclaimed, “I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.” Today, relax, give it all to Him. Trust God, He will have mercy and help you.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Let's Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father God, I come and bring all my burdens to You. I am so tired of trying to fix everything myself. I need You. I ask You for mercy. Please help me today, I pray. "Almighty Father God, I come before You today lifting up every burden, anxiety, and weight that is on my heart. You, know my struggles and what I cannot carry on my own." "Lord, I choose to stop trying to handle this alone and I surrender it all to You. I place my worries, fears, and unmet expectations into Your hands," "Thank You, for Your unconditional Love. I ask for Your comfort and strength, and for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard my heart and mind." "Your Word promises that if I cast my burdens on You, You, will sustain me. I trust that You are working in my life in Your perfect timing." "I leave these burdens at Your feet and choose to walk in freedom. In Jesus,’ Precious
And Mighty Blessed And Holy Name I Prayed. Amén!

Meditate:
I Put My Trust In God!
Quiet your heart and come before God in prayer. Sense this big burden you are carrying on your back. Picture God wanting to take the burden from you. Take it off and lay it at His feet. Feel the relief as you take it off your back. Sense the joy in God’s heart as you give it to Him. He has heard your cry for mercy and is pleased to help you. Smile and feel the joy in your heart as you say, “I put my trust in God.”

GOD SEES US THROUGH JESUS!!

Romans 5:16 (NKJV) And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

Romans 5:16 (NLT) And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.

Wow, what a verse! Even though we are guilty of many sins, we have been justified because of what God has done through Jesus Christ! This does not happen one day when we get to heaven. We are justified now! We are blameless and accepted in the beloved in God’s sight.

Some people believe that when you say things like this, it makes people want to sin. What I have found is that when you show people the freedom that God has given to us by the blood of Jesus, it empowers us not to sin.

If all I think about is my sin problem, I am going to sin more. But when I think of Jesus, and that God is not mad at me anymore, that He loves me like a good earthly father loves their child, then I fall in love with God so much that I do not want to do anything that would cut off that great communion with Him.

So today, do not look at your shortcomings; look to Jesus! Do not look at your failures; look to Jesus! He is the Perfect One! We are not perfect, so He has given us His righteousness. He has given us His holiness, His beauty, and His love. Look to Jesus, and your self-esteem will be lifted up.

When we can see ourselves the way God see us, and He always sees us through Jesus, then things will turn around for us. Your life will be filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory!

Today, I make a decision to see myself the way that God sees me, and that is through the blood of His dear Son, Jesus! I am not going to look at my shortcomings. I am going to look at the One who conquered all for me!

I am with you alway.
— Matthew 28:20

It is well there is One who is ever the same, and who is ever with us. It is well there is one stable rock amidst the billows of the sea of life. O my soul, set not thine affections upon rusting, moth-eaten, decaying treasures, but set thine heart upon him who abides forever faithful to thee. Build not thine house upon the moving quicksands of a deceitful world, but found thy hopes upon this rock, which, amid descending rain and roaring floods, shall stand immovably secure. My soul, I charge thee, lay up thy treasure in the only secure cabinet; store thy jewels where thou canst never lose them. Put thine all in Christ; set all thine affections on his person, all thy hope in his merit, all thy trust in his efficacious blood, all thy joy in his presence, and so thou mayest laugh at loss, and defy destruction. Remember that all the flowers in the world’s garden fade by turns, and the day cometh when nothing will be left but the black, cold earth. Death’s black extinguisher must soon put out thy candle. Oh! how sweet to have sunlight when the candle is gone! The dark flood must soon roll between thee and all thou hast; then wed thine heart to him who will never leave thee; trust thyself with him who will go with thee through the black and surging current of death’s stream, and who will land thee safely on the celestial shore, and make thee sit with him in heavenly places forever. Go, sorrowing son of affliction, tell thy secrets to the Friend who sticketh closer than a brother. Trust all thy concerns with him who never can be taken from thee, who will never leave thee, and who will never let thee leave him, even “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” “Lo, I am with you alway,” is enough for my soul to live upon, let who will forsake me. Amén!! And Amén!!

His Presence!!

“You have endowed him with eternal blessings and given him the joy of your presence.” Psalms 21:6 (NLT) a

Devotional!

Here we see King David writing a psalm about God’s blessing in his life. David felt blessed because God gave him the joy of being in His presence. Joy comes from deep bonded relationships, especially with God. That is why we were created. God desires our fellowship. He has endowed each of us with eternal blessings that come from the joy of His presence. But do we even pay attention to God? Much like a marriage, you can choose to enjoy each other’s company or you can keep busy ignoring each other’s companionship and wonder years later, why the love is gone. Today, choose to be conscious of the presence of God. Choose to stop and meditate on who He is and the infinite love He has for you. When you do, you will find true joy.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Let's Pray:

Almighty Father God, make me conscious of Your presence. Please, Help me to experience today, the deep joy of knowing You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and fill my heart with Your love. "Good Heavenly Father God, You are everywhere I go, You see everything I do, You lead me, guide me, protect me, Comfort me, and Love me, I Praise You, for this truth.
Gracious Father God,
I often forget Your closeness amidst daily distractions, Please, help me remain mindful that You are always with me, surrounding me in all I do. Merciful Father God, I ask for a stronger awareness of Your Presence to fill my life with Light, Thanking You, for Your constant companionship. In Jesus,"

I live in the awareness of God!
Picture yourself in the presence of God. Not passively but focused, attuned into God. Feel His love for you. Picture Him being happy with you, full of love for you. As you sense His presence become aware of the fact that He is aware of you. You are the object of His attention. He loves you and desires for you to fully know Him. Worship Him and thank Him for His presence. Affirm today that it is your desire to live in the awareness of His presence.

AMAZING GRACE!!

Romans 5:15 (NKJV) But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

Here in Romans, Paul, by the Spirit of God, shows us the difference between Adam and Jesus. We see how great the work of Jesus Christ is, and that, even with the fall of the human race, what Jesus did was so much greater!

In this verse, we see that the free gift that God gave to us, Jesus, is not like the fall of Adam. In fact, Paul goes right on to say that through Adam many die, but through the grace of our loving Father, His mercy and goodness abounds to many.

Now I do not know about you, but I am sure glad that God’s grace, and not His judgment, is abounding to me. You see, when a person receives Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, the blood of the spotless Son of God washes all of his sins away. God does not see us as poor old sinners, but He see us as new creations in Christ! He sees us born again. In fact, this work of regeneration is so powerful that Almighty God does not even remember our past sins!

Grace is God’s unmerited and undeserved favor. We did not deserve it, but His great love for you and me provided it. That is why, throughout all eternity, it will be His grace that will flood our hearts. That is why we can sing a song like “Amazing Grace,” and it is fresh each day.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.

I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now, I see.

T’was Grace that taught my heart to fear. And Grace, my fears relieved.

How precious did that Grace appear the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares we have already come.

T’was Grace that brought us safe thus far and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures.

He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.

When we’ve been here ten
thousand years bright shining as the sun.

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise then when we’ve first begun.

Sing Amazing Grace.

Good Afternoon!Good evening! Good night May, 10th 2026

But now is Christ risen from the dead.
— 1 Corinthians 15:20

The whole system of Christianity rests upon the fact that “Christ is risen from the dead;” for, “If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain: ye are yet in your sins.” The divinity of Christ finds its surest proof in his resurrection, since he was “Declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” It would not be unreasonable to doubt his deity if he had not risen. Moreover, Christ’s sovereignty depends upon his resurrection, “For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.” Again, our justification, that choice blessing of the covenant, is linked with Christ’s triumphant victory over death and the grave; for “He was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Nay, more, our very regeneration is connected with his resurrection, for we are “Begotten again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” And most certainly our ultimate resurrection rests here, for, “If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” If Christ be not risen, then shall we not rise; but if he be risen then they who are asleep in Christ have not perished, but in their flesh shall surely behold their God. Thus, the silver thread of resurrection runs through all the believer’s blessings, from his regeneration onwards to his eternal glory, and binds them together. How important then will this glorious fact be in his estimation, and how will he rejoice that beyond a doubt it is established, that “now is Christ risen from the dead”!

“The promise is fulfill'd,
Redemption’s work is done,
Justice with mercy’s reconciled,
For God has raised his Son.

Joy And Quiet!!

“I have stilled and quieted myself, just as a small child is quiet with its mother. Yes, like a small child is my soul within me.” Psalms 131:2 (NLT)

Devotional!

Have you ever seen the behavior of a mother and infant? They go through a rhythm of joy and quiet. The mother is happy to be with the baby and the baby is joyful in return. Laughter and a lot of love is exchanged. Next the baby will quiet itself and just want to rest. This is especially true after nursing. The joy bond between the mother and child is followed by quiet. A deep, serene trust is built. This is the way God prepares us for life. He knows that, in this world, we need joy and quiet. David knew this too. David purposely stilled himself to a place of quietness where he could enjoy and be nourished by the fellowship of God. He knew that peace, hope, courage and strength all came from the love bond He had with His heavenly Father. This love bond was the result of times of joy and quiet He spent with God. We need to do the same. God offers us peace that passes all understanding. He gives rest to those that He loves. He asks us to be still so we can know that He is God. Today put aside some time and quiet yourself before God. Be at peace, resting in His love for you.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Let's Pray:

Dear Almighty Father God, I come to You today and desire a sacred time of quietness before You. I need Your Peace. I need to be assured of Your Love.
Father God, I desire to experience Your quiet Presence. Gracious Father God, As I come before You, like a child resting in their mothers love, I ask You to Please, quiet my heart and fill me with Your Joy, Love and Peace. In Jesus, Precious Mighty Blessed And Holy Name I Prayed. .
Amén!! Amén!! And Amén!!

Meditate:
I spend quiet time with God
See yourself coming to God in reverence. You are quiet and still before Him. His love begins to fill the place you are in and you sense a deep appreciation and love for Him. In a moment you are engulfed in His presence, enjoying a deep fellowship, a Holy moment. In quietness you muse and worship. You affirm, “I spend quiet time with God.”

Promises!

“Through his glory and integrity he has given us His promises that are of the highest value. Through these promises you will share in the divine nature because you have escaped the corruption that sinful desires cause in the world. II Peter 1:4-4 (NLT)

Devotional!

Peter reminds us that God has given us great and precious promises. Promises are those great weapons that we have to counter negative thinging and painful emotions. How many times we feel out of sorts, emotionally troubled when all the while God’s promises are greater than our fears and circumstances. Promises like He will never leave you, or He has fully forgiven you and has prepared a place for you in glory. God promises that nothing can seperate us from His love and that there is no condemnation now that we are in Him. He has promised that the Holy Spirit is in us to comfort, guide and direct our life. He has promised that He has given us everything we need in order to live a Godly life. Peter knew this so he encourages us to, “make every effort to respond to God’s promises.” That’s the important key to promises. If we are going to enjoy the peace and joy that comes with the promises, we need to appropiate them. We need to respond to what He promises and act on it. When we do, we will share in His divine nature and escape the negative thinking that comes with our natural human disposition.

Be Greatly Blessed!

Let's Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father God, I give this day to You and put my faith in You and Your love for me. Help me focus on all the great and precious promises You have given me. Help me to trust You and to not to lean on my own understanding.
I surrender my plans, my struggles, and my worries into Your hands. Lord, guide my steps, my words, and my decisions today. Let me walk in Your Wisdom and light. For Strength: When I am weak, be my strength. When I am overwhelmed, be my rest. I pray for a hedge of protection over myself and my family. Keep us safe and secure in Your care. Remind me Father, throughout this day of Your Immense Love and Goodness. Help me to see others through Your Eyes and to act with compassion.
I trust that You, will provide for all my needs, as You are Jehovah Jireh. Thank You, for the gift of this new day. In Jesus,' Precious Mighty Blessed And Holy Name I Prayed. Amé!! And Amén!!

Meditate:
I stand on God’s promises!
Come to God and quiet your heart before Him. Picture God in all His power promising to love, protect you and care for you. Sense His amazing love and let your mind be at peace. Take a deep breath and as you exhale say, “Father, I trust in Your Promises.”
