God gave sugarcane sweetness but no fruit, gold its shine but no fragrance, sandalwood its fragrance but no flowers, the Sun its light but no coolness, and the Moon its coolness but not the brightness of the Sun. Perhaps this is a reminder that every blessing does not need to be complete. Our limitations keep us grounded, grateful, and connected to the reality of life. Whatever God has given us, He has given with a purpose. Instead of focusing on what is missing, let us learn to appreciate what we have.

A true devotee is one who learns to embrace whatever the Divine wishes. When you begin to align your desires with God's will, life becomes less about control and more about trust. Surrendering to the Lord is never a loss; it is a beautiful exchange in which we let go of our limited wishes and open our hearts to blessings beyond our imagination. Sometimes, the greatest devotion is simply saying, “O Lord, accept me as I am, and shape my life according to Your will.” This is the true beauty of surrender—where your wishes find peace in His wishes. 🙏
