🎯 Keep Your Trust Only in God! 🙏
Psalm 130:7 reminds us:
*"Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption."_
Human help has limits. People may assist once, twice, or even a few times, but their resources and strength eventually run out. Yet, with God, mercy overflows, and redemption is plenteous! He never fails to deliver those who trust in Him.
🌟 Biblical Examples of Trusting God:
1️⃣ David – In 1 Samuel 17, young David faced the giant Goliath with no armor, only a sling and five stones. Others trusted in weapons and armies, but David declared, "I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts." His trust in God brought victory.
2️⃣ Jehoshaphat – In 2 Chronicles 20, when Judah faced an overwhelming enemy army, King Jehoshaphat didn’t rely on military strength. Instead, he prayed, "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You." God delivered them without a fight, turning their enemies against each other.
3️⃣ Esther – Despite the risks, Queen Esther trusted God and approached the king to save her people. Her faith in God’s timing and purpose brought deliverance for the Jews (Esther 4:14-16).
4️⃣ Peter – When Jesus called Peter to walk on water (Matthew 14:28-31), he did so in faith. But when he focused on the storm, he began to sink. Trusting in Jesus kept him afloat, reminding us to fix our eyes on the Lord.
As Psalm 20:7 declares:
*"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God."_
Chariots and horses symbolize the world’s strength and resources, but they can fail. Only God’s power is limitless.
🌟 Let this be your declaration today:
"I choose to trust in the Lord! Not in human strength, not in fleeting resources, but in the unfailing mercy and plenteous redemption of my God."
🙏 Prayer for the Day:
"Father, thank You for being the source of plenteous redemption. Like David, Jehoshaphat, Esther, and Peter, help me to trust You in every challenge I face. Teach me to rely on Your strength, not the world’s resources. Fill my heart with faith and confidence in Your mercy and love. In Jesus' name, Amen."
🌹 Trust God, for His mercy never runs out!
