We are happy to announce that the next chanting session will start from 16th of July 2023 and continue until the 14th of August 2023.

The Next Chanting to recite will be ”Ramnaam Sankirtanam”. Hope all of you have the books.

As usual the online chanting session will be between 7.30pm to 8.00pm through YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/).

Registrations should be sent on or before the 14th of July positively.

You have to do it through Whatsapp or Message, By Phone will not be done.

The registered devotees will receive prasadam after 25th of August.

Ramakrishna Math, Ooty Welcomes you all to the Annual Celebrations on Sunday the 12th of March 2023.

On the request of many devotees to have an intercession prayer for the suffering citizens of the country due to the pandemic, the Ramakrishna Math, Ooty has decided to chant the “Maha Mritunjaya Mantra” every evening between 7:30 P.M to 8:00 P.M.

The devotees who are interested are welcome to join and chant the mantra in chorus in the tune chanted by Rev.Swami Raghaveshanandaji Maharaj. This program will be organized from 17th May to 17th June. The chanting session will be streamed on the YouTube channel of the Ooty Math.

Interested devotees can send in their names and telephone numbers via whatsapp to the following number 9894071851. The names and numbers sent in will be kept in record and all future programs of the Math will be intimated to the registered devotees. You are also welcome to join this chanting session without registration.

Note: Every evening before the commencement of the chanting, the meaning of the Mritunjaya Mantra and its benefits will be briefly explained by Rev.Swami Raghaveshanandaji Maharaj for a few minutes. At the end of the chanting session there will also be a brief narration of legends of Saints for a few minutes by Rev.Swamiji.

We are glad to inform you that Ramakrishna Math, Ooty has taken up Covid 19 Relief work in a small humble way.

On Request from DSP of the Nilgiris District, the Math has provided much needed N-95 Masks to 200 Police personnel.

Math has provided a basic health kit consisting of Soaps, Tooth brush and paste, oil and Woollen blankets to around 70 destitute people (daily beggars).

So far, total expenditure is around 65 thousand rupees.
