Saptha Rushi Pooja Ongole

Saptha Rushi pooja performed at Ongole is a divinely pooja Performed by 7 Priests to Lord Shiva on our behalf. There is a belief that participating in this Pooja/Aarti can free from all Sins. During this pooja Devotees who are registered for pooja can enter inside the Main temple , touch the Shiv linga & can offer their prayers.

There is a saying that a Devotee with pure devotion , who pours the holy water on Shiv linga & offers one flower to Lord shiva during this pooja will get blessings equivalent to a Pooja Preformed with Hundred Golden flowers.

The Pooja is Performed every Monday from 7PM -9PM at Shivalingakara Sri Kasi Vishweswara Swami Temple built with 4 Gateways which is the Premises of Santhapet Saibaba mandir , Ongole , Andhra Pradesh.

Saptha Rushi Puja at Ongole - by Mathampalli Dakshinamurthy Garu

The famous Saptha Rushi puja is being performed at Santhapeta Saibaba Mandir , Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. Originally the puja is performed at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi. It is A unique 750 year old pooja aarati with 7 priests through whom the seven holy sages themselves perform arati to Lord Shiva on our behalf. The same puja is being performed in Ongole by 7 Priests in the presence of Holy Priest Mathampalli Dakshinamurthy garu , which is the only puja done next to Kashi vishwanath temple in India.
