Shree Jagannath Mandir is managed by Sri Jagannath Samiti, Noida based in Noida Extension Road committed to the propagation of Jagannath culture and spreading the glory of Lord Jagannath in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi NCR. The Samiti is also involved in many welfare activities, especially activities devoted to the well-being of under-privileged people around the temple. As a first
step towards fulfilling its objective, the trust has planned to construct Shree Jagannath Temple and Cultural Center on a 10,000 sq.ft. The Trust plans to construct a temple and cultural center that will be a true landmark of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi NCR, largely based on the architecture of the Shree Jagannath Temple at Puri. The temple complex will house a Cultural Center devoted to Odissi dance and music and spiritual literature of all kinds. The three idols of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are installed in a temporary temple structure presently and regular puja is being conducted by pujaris everyday and a variety of traditional bhog is available for devotees. Important festivals are being celebrated at the temple premises.
We need the support and contribution of all devotees and patrons for the construction of the grand temple of Lord Jagannath. With the Blessings of Lord Jagannath, The first step in this regard, the Bhoomi Poojan for construction of a Bhavya Temple in Noida area was performed on 4th January 2010, in Sector-121, Noida. Within a year , The Mata Mandir (Goddess Durga) and temple for Lord Hanuman is already constructed and Goddess Durga along with Lord Hanuman is being worshiped here everyday with complete rituals . Not only the people of Odisha , also the locals staying nearby do visit this temple regularly for the blessings of Lord Jagannath. Since the sthapana of Lord Jagannath at the Temple in Noida the devotees are offering puja and performing all rituals as per the tradition. Rath Yatra ( Car Festival)
The main function of Lord Jagannath, the Car Festival (Rath Yatra) is being organized every year in which thousands of devotees from various parts of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and adjoining areas are participating in the festival. The numbers of devotees are increasing manifold with each passing years. The Rath Yatras are being organized in grand gala scale with number of Bhajan and Kirtan groups. Devotees pull the rope of the Rath with singing, dancing and chanting name of Lord Jagannath. Bhandara for all Devotees were available for the whole day. Local residents on the Rath route welcome and offer midway refreshments for all the devotees at various places. People offers Prasad and flowers to the Lord. Distribution of Kanika and fruits Prasad hold on a massive scale. Bhagwat Gitas and other religious articles were distributed by devotees from time to time. Beautifully edited DVDs of Rath Yatra with background of Oriya and Hindi Bhajans were being distributed after the festival. Other Festivals
Round the year various functions like Jhulan Yatra, Janmastami, Chhati,Ganesh Puja, Kartika Purnima, Makar Sankranti, Maha Shiv Ratri, Basant Panchami, Holi, Akshya trutiya, Pana sankranti, Dev Snana Purnima, Nav Jouban etc. are performed with Bhajan, Kirtan, Odishi dance and cultural programmes followed by Mahaprasad.
