Karode Sreekrishna Swamy Temple is an ancient temple located 12 km from Neyyatinkara Sree Krishna Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram district, the southernmost district of Kerala കേരളത്തിന്റെ തെക്കേയറ്റത്തെ ജില്ലയായ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ സ്വാമിക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 12 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന അതിപുരാതന ഒരു മഹാ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് കാരോട് ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമിക്ഷേത്രം.
രണ്ടുകൈകളി

ലും വെണ്ണ പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്ന കൃഷ്ണശിലയിൽ തീർത്ത ബാലരൂപത്തിലുള്ള ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ വിഗ്രഹമാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ മുഖ്യപ്രതിഷ്ഠ.
ഇരുകൈകളിലും വെണ്ണ പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഭാവമായതിനാൽ വെണ്ണയാണ് ഭഗവാന്റെ പ്രധാന നിവേദ്യം. AD 1750 - 1755 മാർത്താണ്ഡവർമ മഹാരാജാവൻ്റെ കാലത്ത് ക്ഷേത്രം പണി കഴിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നാണ് അറിയാൻ കഴിയുന്നത്. കാരോട് കുന്നത്തു മഠത്തിന്റെ കീഴിലാണ് ഈ മഹാക്ഷേത്രം
ക്ഷേത്രം ജീർണാവസ്ഥയിൽ എത്തുകയും തുടർന്ന് ക്ഷേത്രം പുനരുദ്ധാരണം നടത്തി 2019 ക്ഷേത്ര തന്ത്രി തൃപ്രയാർ ചെറുമുക്ക് ജാതവേദൻ നമ്പൂതിരിയുടെ കാർമികത്വത്തിൽ പുനപ്രതിഷ്ഠ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
