Manipur Christian Fellowship Delhi

𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐌𝐂𝐅𝐃

Established on 29th March 1992, The Manipur Christian Fellowship, Delhi (initially called The Manipur Bible Fellowship Delhi) emanated from a resolution achieved unanimously at a meeting held at Vishwa Vani, L – 15, Green Park, New Delhi, India. Khupudang, the meeting was blessed, encouraged and motivated with God's words which were delivered by Mr. A month later (on 5th of April 1992)

the following Executive Members were appointed:

Ms. Achong Mangte as Treasurer
Ms. Esther Remei as Jt. Kaiser Monsang as Member
Ms. Phungmi Tangkhul as Member
Mr. Emanuel A**l as Member. With a Managing Board constituting of:

Mr. Emil Jeba Singh, Director of Vishwa Vani
Rev. Khupudang
Mr. Ashong Mangte, Vishwa Vani
Mr. Worthing Tangkhul

Soon after it's inception, the Manipur Christian Fellowship Delhi incorporated the following Aims & Objectives:

• To provide a common platform for Manipuri believers to worship God together, irrespective of their caste, language and denominations;
• To enable members to illuminate Christian virtues at their inhabitant, workplace or at their educational institutions by developing their spiritual growth and understanding;
• To foster and create a sense of fraternity, unity, love, trust, peaceful co – existence etc; and
• To promote social – cultural and educational development of its members and their aquaintances. During its 29 years of existence, the Manipur Christian Fellowship, Delhi has been successfully carrying out all the fundamental Activities of a Church, espicially teaching, preaching and baptizing, just as commissioned by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ himself to his Church in Matthew chapter 28 verse 16-20. MCFD's Year long activities includes holy comminion on every first sunday of the month, youth bible camps, children vocational bible camps, seminars, child dedications, ministering holy matrimonials and various other activites. Presently there are five major organizational structures:

• Sunday School For Children
• Prayer Cells



𝐌𝐂𝐅𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇

1. We believe in the one Holy, Almighty God, eternally existing in three persons: God-the-Father, God-the-Son and God-the-Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-eternal in nature, co-eternal in power and glory, each with distinct personality attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.

2. We believe in the inerrancy of the Scripture, that the 66 Books of the Holy Bible containing Old Testament and the New Testament are infallible and inspired in the original writings and that these are the final authority for our faith and life.

3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He is the eternal Son of God and that He, without ceasing to be God, became a Man by the Holy Spirit through virgin birth, and that He died at the Cross on Mount Calvary for sinners as the only satisfactory substitutionary sacrifice, and that His body was buried in the tomb and rose bodily to life on the third day, and that He ascended to Heaven and glorified and seated at the right of God, and that He is coming again for His own people and to set up His Kingdom.

4. We believe in the Holy Spirit that He is Divine person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement and that He is Supernatural Agent in regeneration by Whom all believers are baptized into the Body of Christ as one, and that He indwells and seals the believers until the Day of Redemption and that He is Divine Teacher and Helper and guides believers into all truth, and that it is the privilege of all believers to be filled with the Spirit.

5. We believe that God created man in His own image, and that in the state of man's innocence, sin entered through Adams's transgression into the World and death through sin. Consequently man inherited corrupt nature being born in sin and under condemnation and become transgressor in thought, word and deed.

6. We believe that Salvation is the gift of God brought to man by the grace of God and received only through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and personal repentance for sin in acceptance of His finished work and His atoning blood for the remission of sin.

7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men - the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to everlasting punishment, and that the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss, they await the first resurrection when the spirit, soul and body are united in glorified nature to live forever with the Lord.

8. We believe that Church is the Body of Christ composed of believers who are regenerated and are baptized into the Body by the Holy Spirit at the time of new birth, and that the Local Church which is visible manifestation of this Body has the absolute responsibility for fellowship, edification of believers and for propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the World.

9. We believe in the Non-Charismatic, Pre-Millennial and Evangelical Unity in the Body of Christ which is the Church.
