Immanuel Community Church is an English congregation in New Delhi which exists to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in National Capital Region of India. Apart from worship services on Sundays and Wednesdays, its special one-on-one or group Bible studies known as "The Session" which is part of "Immanuel Project" has really transformed lives. Through this special project, non-Christians in part
icular are invited to the sessions which will allow the participants to know Jesus in a real and personal way. The word "Immanuel" comes from Hebrew language, it means "God with us". Today, we may despair and unhappy due to various type of challenges, struggles and difficulties. The church exists to guide one and all with sound Biblical teachings so that one can overcome any difficulty in the journey of life with Jesus by their side. In our struggles, loneliness, depression and difficulties, Jesus is always with us. The sessions will unpack this truth and set many people free. God's word says that mankind is in the image of God and therefore, we naturally long for him. Therefore, since he created mankind in his own image, God has a purpose for everyone. Do join our "session" or worship services to know the teachings of Jesus. If you know the truth, you may never be the same again. Jesus said,"You will know the truth and the truth will set you free." He also invited people to come to him as he can give true rest. Although our fellow human beings often disappointed us and let us down, Jesus said that if anyone would go to him, he will never reject them. We have everything to gain by knowing Jesus and following his teachings. The churches exist to make sure that you know His side of the story which has the power to change lives. The Church is led by Pastor Peter, who has a dual Master's degree in Political Science and Divinity from Delhi University, India and Olivet University, United States respectively.
