Shirdi Sai Baba Temples cannot be funded
funds cannot be used for the construction of Shirdi Sai Baba temples as they do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Endowments Department.
According to the Minister, the Endowments Department functions in accordance with Agama Shastras, Vedic traditions, and Puranic guidelines to protect and promote Sanatana Dharma. Funds belonging to Hindu temples are therefore intended for the development and preservation of temples that come under this traditional framework.
The government has stated that it will support the construction and consecration of temples requested by the public, including temples dedicated to Sri Venkateswara Swamy, Lord Shiva, Goddess Durga, Sitarama Anjaneya Swamy and other Hindu deities, subject to Hindu Dharmika Parishad guidelines.
