"Amritapuri Ayyappa Puja Samiti" is formed by the residents of Amritapuri (a South Indian colony) located near to Hastsal and in between Nilothi and Ranhaula villages in New Delhi. Every year, the "Ayyappa Pooja" is held normally on 3rd/4th Sunday of November for one full day. All residents of Amritapuri participate in the Pooja and in all other programmes. astsal, Vikaspuri, Harinagar also visit Amritapuri to participate in the Poojas. Pooja on the "Makara Jyoti" is also organised by the Amritapuri Ayyappa Puja Samiti every year. During the "mandala" season (starting from 17th November), the Amritapuri Bhajana Samiti, organises Bhajanas every day in the evening at the residence. All residents at Amritapuri joins in these pooja programmes.
