The Israelites stood at the edge of the promised land facing impossible odds—the Jordan River before them, fortified cities ahead, and uncertainty about what lay beyond. Yet the Lord’s counsel remained clear: “Be strong and of a good courage.”

This week in Come, Follow Me, we are reminded that the Lord does not always remove the obstacles before us, but He does strengthen us as we move forward in faith. As we trust in Him through our own trials and uncertainties, we can witness His hand working wonders in our lives.

“The Family: A Proclamation to the World” teaches that each person is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents.

When we understand who we are, our lives become more firmly rooted in divine truth and eternal purpose.

Over the coming days, we will reflect on how remembering this truth changes the way we live.
