Significance of Mata Ki Chowki
Mata ki Jagran is a holy event which consists of all
night kirtan of the Divine Mother Goddess Durga
where Her devotees worship Her by singing Her
praises and Her bents (Devotional Songs) which
includes spiritual awakening for attainment of
Moksha. This devotional program is done during the
night.
In Mata Ki Chowki, the group preaches about Mata,
sings "Jagrata" and motivates devotees all over the
world to pay their respects through their prayers. At
last Mataji's Aarti and some shlokas, After all this
we do Kanjak and Lonkra Poojan and distribute
Prasad to all and complete the Jagran with samapti.
One should perform MATA KI CHOWKI or MATA KA
JAGRAN to get blessed by Durga Devi's Divine
powers and get one's wishes fulfilled.
