ISKCON Youth Forum (IYF) is a program to serve the needs of present day youth. Youths are at the peak of their lives and have a tremendous enthusiasm for understanding anything which interests them. We encourage youths to achieve the ultimate understanding of life, so that whatever else one may wish to learn or acquire – you can do it with great relish. IYF is meant to help the youths to attain st
ability and permanent happiness through the understanding & applying Vedic culture in the modern world. All efforts in IYF are directed towards this purpose. We request you to take complete advantage of it. We help youth achieve this goal by conducting various courses, seminars, presentations and group discussions on Bhagavad-Gita and Vedic philosophy and teaching their scientific application in daily lives, we give complete knowledge of the advanced principles of Vedic life. Harmony with nature & divine power of God makes our life meaningful & happy. On convenient days like weekends (Sat & Sun) and public holidays, we arrange for such programs. The Youths also get an opportunity for interacting with serious practitioners of Vedic culture, thereby enriching our understanding of our glorious culture. The programs conducted for Youth’s are:
1. “PRERANA” for boys and “CHETANA” for girls once in a month. Topics covered are Art of Harnessing Mind Power, Science of Soul, Art of SMART Work, Mystery of Karma, Power of Habits, etc
2. Camps & Retreats.– conducted every 2 months
3. Youth Hostel – For Professionals, who are working in various company jobs outside, while getting trained in pure spiritual lifestyle.

OBJECTIVES OF IYS
1. Equip youth with essential life skills by means of personality development seminars.
2. Assist their academic pursuits through tested study techniques & concentration methods.
3. Deepen their knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the theology and values of Vedic thought.
4. Inculcate a deep sense of respect, care, and concern for nature and educate solutions to deepen environmental crisis facing humanity by awareness camps and practical assignments in rural settings.
5. Enable them to develop ethical discrimination in critical circumstances as well as day to day decision making.
6. Help them recognize their specific areas of competence with a view to achieving fulfillment in their personal lives.
7. Provide exposure to corporations implementing a value-based work culture in their organization for an efficient productivity.
8. Counseling and befriending to address the troubled and confused youth.
9. Social initiatives to help feed poor children. Provide residential training to those interested in learning and practicing the art of meditation.
10. Organize quiz competitions on ancient Vedic texts like Mahabharata and Ramayana.
11. Visit places of heritage and spiritual interest to deepen one’s connection with a glory of Indian culture and civilization.
