नांदेड येथील होळी भागात असलेले प्राचीन श्रीरामाचे मंदिर हे सरदेशपांडे सरकार नांदेड यांच्या भव्य हवेलीचाच एक भाग आहे. इसवी सन १७ व्या शतकामध्ये कै. मुकुंद सीतारामपंत सरदेशपांडे यांनी या मंदिराची निर्मिती केली असा इतिहास सांगतो. कै.
मुकुंदराव यांना स्वप्न दृष्टांताद्वारे श्री प्रभू रामचंद्र यांनी त्यांच्या घरी निवासास येण्याची इच्छा व्यक्त केली. त्यानुसार कै. मुकुंदराव सरदेशपांडे यांनी हेमाडपंथी पद
्धतीचे दगडी खांबावर आधारित मंदिरही उभारले आणि मूर्तीची प्रतिष्ठापना केली. सदरील मूर्ती ही ' वामांकारूढसीता ' असून गंडकी शिळा (काळ्या पाषाणाची ) आहे. श्रीराम मंदिराच्या मूर्ती समोर श्री दास मारुतीची पण स्थापना केलेली आहे. सरदेशपांडे यांच्या घराण्यातच कैलासवासी विठ्ठलराव सरदेशपांडे उर्फ प. पू. स्वामी सच्चिदानंद तीर्थ यांनी श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम या त्रयोदशीक्षरांचे अनुष्ठान प्राप्त करून श्रीरामाचे सगुण दर्शन प्राप्त करून घेतले होते. त्यांच्याच तपोबलाने या मंदिरात प्रभू श्रीरामाचे कायम वास्तव्य असते अशी सरदेशपांडे कुटुंबीयांची विनम्र भावना आहे.
सरदेशपांडे कुटुंबियांकडुन मंदिरात दरवर्षी चैत्र शुद्ध प्रतिपदा (गुढीपाडवा) ते चैत्र शुद्ध दशमी पर्यंत श्रीराम जन्मोत्सव मोठ्या उत्साहाने साजरा केला जातो. या दरम्यान कीर्तन, प्रवचन, संगीत तसेच व्याख्यान असे विविध धार्मिक कार्यक्रम केले जातात.
आणि या परंपरेचे सरदेशपांडे कुटुंबियांकडुन निष्ठेने पालन केले जाते.
