Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Let us always remember that our strength does not come from the things of this world, but from our relationship with God. Life may bring difficulties, disappointments, and moments when we feel weak, but God remains faithful.

Just as a tree needs deep roots to stand firm during strong winds, we too must be deeply rooted in Christ. Through prayer, worship, reading God’s Word, and fellowship with one another, our faith becomes stronger.

Let us not only come to church to hear the Word, but also live according to it. Let us love one another, forgive one another, encourage those who are struggling, and be a light to those around us.

May our congregation remain united in Christ, strong in faith, faithful in prayer, and committed to serving God. Whatever challenges we face, let us trust the Lord and remember His promise:

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.Psalm 28:7

May God bless our church, our families, and every member of our congregation. Let us continue walking together in faith, love, and obedience to Christ.

Heavenly Father, bless our church congregation and every member of our church family. Unite us in love, strengthen our faith, and guide us according to Your will. Fill our hearts with peace, joy, and the Holy Spirit. Help us to serve one another and be a light to our community. Protect our families and lead us closer to You each day. Be Rooted in the Lord Sunday Worship at Lower Chemchey EPCS Church

The Word of God was shared by Mr. Yadhu Kumar Rai, with the message “Be Rooted in the Lord.”

During his message, he shared his personal testimony and spoke about the challenges he faced, including illness, during a difficult period of his life. His testimony reminded the congregation of the importance of remaining faithful and firmly rooted in the Lord, especially during times of hardship.

He encouraged everyone to reflect on where they have placed their roots. Many people become deeply rooted in worldly things, but as Christians, we are called to be rooted in the Lord and to build our lives upon Him.

Using the example of trees, he explained that an unhealthy tree cannot produce good fruit. Similarly, a life rooted in worldly and sinful ways such as drunkenness, anger, ungodliness, and can produce unhealthy spiritual fruits.

On the other hand, a healthy tree produces good fruit. A life rooted in Christ should reflect love, peace, humility, kindness, patience, and other godly qualities.

The message was a powerful reminder that just as a tree needs strong roots to stand firm and bear good fruit, our lives need strong roots in the Lord to remain faithful and fruitful.

Be rooted in the Lord, and let your life bear good fruit.
