If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

📖 Sunday Service
Date: 03/05/2026
Speaker: Eld. Patrus Gurung
Bible Reading:
Old Testament: Judges 14:5–6
New Testament: Acts 1:8

Whatever we overcome in life, God can turn it into something good and a blessing.
The enemy (devil) always tries to stop us from reaching our goals and purpose.

1 Peter 5:8 – The devil is like a roaring lion seeking to devour.
Jeremiah 2:15 – The enemy brings destruction.
Proverbs 22:13 – Fear becomes an excuse that stops progress.

Acts 1:8 – When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we receive power.
Through this power:
We overcome fear and temptation
We move forward in our purpose
We become examples to others

Judges 16:20–21, 23–25
When Samson disobeyed God, the Spirit of God left him.
The enemy captured him and made him weak.

When the enemy catches us, the first thing they try to destroy is our spiritual vision (our connection with God).
Without spiritual sight, we lose direction and strength.
God’s Grace
Even when we fall, God is still waiting for us.
God desires to forgive and restore us when we return to Him.
Conclusion
Stay strong in God and do not give room to the enemy.
Keep your spiritual life active and alert.
Walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Even if you fall, return to God—He is ready to forgive.

SUNDAY DIVINE SERVICE
Date: 26/04/2026
Speaker: Rev. D. S. Rai
Bible Readings:
Old Testament: Proverbs 5:9
New Testament: Matthew 13:33
Message Theme: “Leaven (Yeast)”
Key Verse: Matthew 13:33
Main Message:
In the parable of the leaven, Jesus teaches that the Kingdom of God works quietly but powerfully, just like yeast mixed into flour. Even a small amount can influence the whole dough.
God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). In the same way, Christ becomes like “leaven” in us—transforming our lives from within.
As believers, we are also called to be like leaven in the world—bringing change, growth, and spiritual influence in our homes, church, and society.
Key Teachings:
Leaven Brings Growth
The church should grow spiritually and in numbers through the work of God within us.
Growth may be slow, but it is steady and powerful.
Be Careful of Wrong Leaven
Galatians 5:9 – “A little leaven leavens the whole lump.”
Not all leaven is good; wrong teachings and sin can also spread quickly.
Discernment is Important
Matthew 16:5–12 – Jesus warned about the leaven of the Pharisees (false doctrine).
We must be spiritually alert and guard our faith.
Be Like the Bereans
Acts 17:10–11 – They examined the Scriptures daily.
We should test and confirm everything through the Word of God.
Conclusion:
Let us allow Christ to work within us like leaven—transforming our hearts and helping the church grow. At the same time, we must guard ourselves from wrong influences and remain rooted in God’s Word.

Sunday service 12/04/2026
speaker: eld Benjamin lepcha (jorethang epcs)

Main Theme:
A true Christian is known not only by belief, but by obedience and works.
🔑 1. Faith Must Be Tested and Proven
Genesis 22:1–13
Abraham was tested when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac. He obeyed without hesitation.
👉 This shows:
Real faith trusts God even at great cost
Obedience proves our love and trust in God
Hebrews 11:17–19
Confirms Abraham’s faith—he believed God could even raise Isaac from the dead.
🔑 2. Faith Without Works Is Dead
James 2:14–24
Faith alone (just words) is not enough
Abraham was justified by both faith and action
👉 Message:
If our faith is real, it will be visible in how we live.
🔑 3. Not Everyone Who Says “Lord” Is True
Matthew 7:21
Not everyone who calls Jesus “Lord” will enter heaven, but only those who do the will of God
👉 Christianity is not just words—it is obedience
🔑 4. Love Must Be Shown in Action
1 John 3:17–18
Loving others is not just talk
It must be shown through helping and caring
👉 True Christian life = practical love
🔑 5. Obedience Is Proof of Love
John 14:15
“If you love me, keep my commandments.”
👉 Love for Jesus is shown through obedience, not feelings alone
🔑 6. Faith Is the Foundation
Romans 4:1–3
Abraham was counted righteous because of faith
👉 Important balance:
We are saved by faith
But true faith will produce works
🔥 Final Message:
“Our life must show our faith.”
Faith + Works = True Christianity
Obedience proves our relationship with God
Love must be seen in action
👉 And yes, your statement is powerful:
“At any cost, God will do His work and will choose His people.”

Good Friday Message
Sangbong Gurungaon EPCS
Speaker: Jessica Lepcha (Namchi EPCS)
Date: 03/04/2026

Message Theme:
“We Are Made New Through His Blood”

Key Scriptures:
Leviticus 8:22–23
2 Corinthians 5:17
1 Corinthians 6:16
2 Corinthians 4:18
2 Kings 6:8

Key Points:
New Life Through His Blood
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, we are made new.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
One in Spirit with Christ
(1 Corinthians 6:16) reminds us that when we are united with Him, we become one in Spirit. This union makes us a new creation.
The Work of the Holy Spirit
When the Holy Spirit comes into our lives, transformation begins. We are no longer the same—we are renewed from within.
Living by Faith, Not by Sight
(2 Corinthians 4:18) teaches us to focus on the unseen and eternal, not temporary things. A new creation sees life differently.
Spiritual Vision Matters
Like in (2 Kings 6:8), God opens our spiritual eyes to see His power and presence beyond the natural.
Bearing the Image of Jesus
As new creations, we reflect the image of Christ in our lives—through our thoughts, actions, and character.

Conclusion:
Good Friday reminds us that through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are no longer bound by our past. We are new creations, filled with His Spirit, and called to live in His image.

Passion Week Fellowship – Day 4
Speaker: Eld. Patrus Gurung
Venue: Sangbong Gurungaon EPCS
Date: 02/04/2026
SHORT REFERENCE

John 19:30 – “It is finished.”
Message Theme:
“Now Finished – The Work of Salvation is Complete”
1️⃣ Jesus Came to Fulfill God’s Purpose

➡️ Luke 4:21 – Jesus came to fulfill the Word of God.
➡️ Matthew 5:17 – He came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.
➡️ Hebrews 9:22 – Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
Jesus came to complete God’s plan of salvation through His sacrifice.
➡️ Hebrews 10:4 – The blood of animals could not take away sins.
➡️ 1 John 1:7 – The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.
Important Teaching:
We do not come to church to get salvation
We do not come to fellowship to get salvation
We do not give tithes (10%) to get salvation
We already have salvation through Jesus, that’s why:
We come to church
We join fellowship
We give tithes
➡️ Salvation is a gift, not something we earn.
Hope of His Coming:
We should be excited for the second coming of Jesus, because salvation is already given—no more payment is needed.
2️⃣ Jesus Surrendered His Life Willingly

➡️ Luke 23:46 – “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.”
Here Jesus again says “Father”, showing restored relationship.
➡️ Ecclesiastes 12:7 – At death, the body returns to dust and the spirit returns to God.
Physical death: separation of body and soul
Spiritual death: separation from God
➡️ John 19:32–33 – Jesus was already dead; His legs were not broken.
➡️ Psalm 34:20 – Not one of His bones was broken.
➡️ Jesus died because of our sins, not His own.
Meaning of “It is Finished”
Sin is defeated
The price is fully paid
Salvation is given
➡️ Jesus gave His life by His own will and committed His spirit to the Father.
🙏 Conclusion:
“It is finished” means:
Our sins are forgiven
Salvation is complete
No more sacrifice is needed
Now our response is to thank Him, live for Him, and remain in fellowship.

PASSION WEEK FELLOWSHIP – DAY 3
Speaker: Eld. Patrus Gurung
Date: 01/04/2026
Venue: Sangbong Gurungaon EPCS
SHORT REFERENCE...
Message Theme:
“The Suffering and Sacrifice of Jesus”
Key Points:
1️⃣ Matthew 27:45–46
“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Jesus prayed as a representative of sinners.
Here, He said “God” instead of “Father”, showing the separation caused by sin.
At that moment, God allowed His beloved Son to bear the sins of the world.
This fulfilled prophecy:
Isaiah 53:4 – He took our suffering upon Himself.
2️⃣ John 19:28
“I thirst”
Jesus did not try to escape His suffering.
He fully accepted God’s will, even in pain.
His thirst shows:
His human suffering
The fulfillment of prophecy
Psalm 22:15 – His strength dried up
Matthew 27:34 – He refused relief from pain
1 Peter 2:24 – He bore our sins on the cross
Hebrews 2:9 – He tasted death for everyone
Hebrews 2:14–15 – He defeated death and freed us
Spiritual Message:
Jesus’ thirst also reflects a deeper truth:
There are still many people in this world who are spiritually thirsty and dying without God.
Therefore:
We are called to preach the Word of God
To share the message of salvation and hope
To bring people closer to Christ
