Proverbs 13:4
[4]சோம்பேறியுடைய ஆத்துமா விரும்பியும் ஒன்றும் பெறாது; ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவோ புஷ்டியாகும்.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

Proverbs 13:13
[13]திருவசனத்தை அவமதிக்கிறவன் நாசமடைவான்; கற்பனைக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவனோ பலனடைவான்.
Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Acts 17:25
[25]எல்லாருக்கும் ஜீவனையும் சுவாசத்தையும் சகலத்தையும் கொடுக்கிற அவர், தமக்கு யாதொன்று தேவையானதுபோல, மனுஷர் கைகளால் பணிவிடைகொள்ளுகிறதுமில்லை.
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Acts 14:22
[22]சீஷருடைய மனதைத் திடப்படுத்தி, விசுவாசத்திலே நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லி, நாம் அநேக உபத்திரவங்களின் வழியாய் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டுமென்று சொன்னார்கள்.
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 13:48
[48]புறஜாதியார் அதைக் கேட்டுச் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, கர்த்தருடைய வசனத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் எவர்களோ அவர்கள் விசுவாசித்தார்கள்.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

[20]என்னைச் சிநேகிக்கிறவர்கள் மெய்ப்பொருளைச் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படிக்கும், அவர்களுடைய களஞ்சியங்களை நான் நிரப்பும்படிக்கும்,
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
[21]அவர்களை நீதியின் வழியிலும், நியாயபாதைகளுக்குள்ளும் நடத்துகிறேன்.
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Acts 5:38-39
இப்பொழுது நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதென்னவென்றால் இந்த மனுஷருக்கு ஒன்றுஞ்செய்யாமல் இவர்களை விட்டுவிடுங்கள். இந்த யோசனையும் இந்தக் கிரியையும் மனுஷரால் உண்டாயிருந்ததானால் ஒழிந்துபோம்;
And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
தேவனால் உண்டாயிருந்ததேயானால், அதை ஒழித்துவிட உங்களால் கூடாது; தேவனோடே போர்செய்கிறவர்களாய்க் காணப்படாதபடிக்குப் பாருங்கள் என்றான்.
But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
