Shree Chatur Das Ji Temple is located at Butati Dham in Nagaur district in Rajasthan India.The temple was built about 200 years ago and built by Shri Chatur Das Ji Maharaj.Butati Dham is a famous dham of Saint Chaturdassji Maharaj and major place for paralysis patient because it is believed that if the patient offers seven Parikarma in seven days, he recover from the paralysis.Butati Dham is a wonderful place and hope for paralises patients.Every Day 200 Patients come here and take blessing to Chatur Das Ji maharaj.

There is no medicine here.You need to stay for 7 days from the day you arrive there. Everyday two times the patient needs to attain the Aarti(Prayer)at the temple. Thats it. Its all faith and believe on god Chaturdasji Maharaj.People see lots of improvement after 7 days stay.

Temple has few rooms to stay. Its free of cost.Its based on first come first serve. No advance booking. They also have open space Hall outside. Dependents of paralised man can stay in room nearby temple without fare and also can get other help from commite of temple.Temple management provide all items for cooking free. You need to prepare the foods.Or You can see few small hotels beside temple you can take food there.

Stroke recovery generally takes a lot of efforts. And can be a very slow, painstaking affair for all, including the families of the survivors. At the same time, increasingly scientific evidence is being accumulated that – unlike as held earlier – it can be a lifelong, continuous affair of training both the mind and the body.
In which determination – that may as well be consequence of faith – plays a major role.
In the context of faith, Butati Dham has been offering hope and succor to millions since many years. Does it work for everyone ? I don’t know. But for many it seems to have made a substantial difference. Here the details for you to experience on you own.

HISTORY AND SUMMARY
It is believed that about five hundred years ago, Saint Chaturdas Ji lived at Butati. Born in the Charan clan, he was a great Siddha Yogi and by his Siddhi he cured paralysis patients. Even today people make seven rounds (circumambulation) around his Samadhi (tomb) to get rid of paralysis. Every year millions of paralyzed patients and other devotees come from all over the country especially on Ekadashi and Dwadashi.

The nearest Airport is Jaipur from where one can get a direct bus to Butati. This will be 5-6 hours journey.
By Train, the nearest railway station is Merta Road Junction.
From Merta Road Junction one gets private taxis etc. This is about an hour’s journey ( about 50 odd kilometers – the Web gives varying information !).
One can also reach Jaipur by train from anywhere in India , and from there get a taxi or bus.

BOARDING AND LODGING
The temple has a few rooms that are offered free for boarding and lodging , along with a large hall outside. This is on first come first served basis. The temple management provides items to be cooked and one can prepare food there. Food is simple – vegetables and wheat flour that one cooks oneself. People accompanying the patient can cook this food and feed themselves as well as the patient.
All this is free of cost. Donations are voluntary.
There are hotels/ guest houses in the vicinity and one can stay there as well.
A hotel there seems to have a page as well.

TREATMENT
There is no specific medicine as such prescribed. One needs to stay for seven days and every day attend aarti ( Prayers that take place in the morning and evening) two times at the temple. The patient is made to stand during the Aarti and then does his /her best ( assisted by others as needed) to circumambulate ( go round , perform ‘parikrama’ ) around the temple.
That is all. There are no extra poojas etc. Existing treatment / medicine etc. of doctors already treating the patient may be continued.
People usually take the “Bhabhuti’ ( holy ash) from the ‘Aarti’, mix it with an oil like mustard oil. The concoction is then used to massage the affected limbs of the patient. For some, the miracle lies therein.
It is claimed some people see a lot of improvement after these seven days. It is said that the improvement is noticeable fifth day onwards.

देश में अन्य बीमारियों के साथ लकवा (Paralysis) रोग भी बड़ा रूप लेता जा रहा है। भारत में लाखों-करोड़ों की संख्या में लोग लकवा से पीड़ित हैं। वहीं रोग के आगे चिकित्सा विज्ञान भी कम असरदार है क्योंकि कुछ लोग चिकित्सा पद्धति के ज़रिए ठीक हो जाते हैं तो कुछ लोगों पर इसका कोई असर नहीं पड़ता है। लेकिन राजस्थान में इस बीमारी के इलाज के लिए एक मंदिर बेहद प्रसिद्ध है। जहां लोगों का मानना है कि केवल परिक्रमा करने से लकवाग्रस्त व्यक्ति ठीक हो जाता है।

ऐसे लगानी होती है परिक्रमा

बुटाटी धाम की मान्यता ऐसी है कि यहां पूरे देश लकवाग्रस्त पीड़ित आते हैं। मंदिर 7 परिक्रमा से लकवा के रोग से मुक्त कराने के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यहां लकवा के मरीजों को सात दिन का प्रवास करते हुए रोज एक परिक्रमा लगानी होती है। सुबह की आरती के बाद पहली परिक्रमा मंदिर के बाहर तथा शाम की आरती के बाद दूसरी परिक्रमा मंदिर के अन्दर लगानी होती है। ये दोनों परिक्रमा मिलकर पूरी एक परिक्रमा कहलाती है। सात दिन तक मरीज को इसी प्रकार परिक्रमा लगानी होती है। बूटाटी धाम अपनी चमत्कारी शक्तियों से लकवा सही करने के लिए काफी मशहूर है।

भक्तों में मान्यता है कि परिक्रमा लगाने और हवन कुण्ड की भभूत लगाने से बीमारी धीरे-धीरे अपना प्रभाव कम कर देती है। शरीर के अंग जो हिलते डुलते नहीं हैं वह धीरे-धीरे काम करने लगते हैं।

मान्यता है कि लगभग 500 साल पहले संत चतुरदास जी का बुटाटी में निवास हुआ करता था। वे सिद्ध योगी थे और अपनी सिद्धियों से लकवा के रोगियों को रोगमुक्त कर देते थे। आज भी लोग लकवा से मुक्त होने के लिए इनकी समाधी पर सात फेरी लगाते हैं।

बुटाटी गांव के चारण कुल में जन्मे संत चतुरदास महाराज आजीवन ब्रह्मचारी रहे। युवावस्था में हिमालय पर्वत पर रहकर गहन तपस्या करने के बाद वे वापस बुटाटी गांव आ गए। यहां तपस्या व गौ सेवा करने लगे। बाद में वे देवलोक गमन हो गए। प्रचलित दंत कथाओं के अनुसार उन्होंने अपने हिस्से की जमीन दान देने की बात कही। पूर्व में गांव के पश्चिम दिशा में केवल एक चबूतरे के निर्माण से शुरू हुआ बाबा की आस्था का केंद्र अब विशाल मन्दिर व धाम बन गया है।

Butati Dham Rajasthan: लकवे के मरीजों के लिए राहत बनकर उभरा है राजस्‍थान का बुटाटी धाम मंदिर, कैसे बना आस्‍था का तीर्थ,

उम्‍मीद पर दुनिया कायम है। हालातों से हारे इंसान को यह कहावत बार-बार याद आती है और इसके बूते वह दुश्‍वारियों का ज़हर पीने का माद्दा रखता है। जिंदगी का यही फलसफा राजस्‍थान के नागौर जिले में जीवंत अर्थ पाता दिखाई देता है। यहां बुटाटी धाम नाम का मंदिर है जो अपनी विशेष मान्‍यता के चलते देश भर में मशहूर हो रहा है। मान्‍यता है कि इस मंदिर में सात दिन तक आरती-परिक्रमा करने से पैरालिसिस (लकवा) के मरीजों का यह मर्ज दूर हो जाता है। चूंकि यह जनआस्‍था है इसलिए इसका प्रचार भी देशज है लेकिन है व्‍यापक और प्रभावी। यही वजह है यहां देश भर के अलावा विदेशों से भी लकवे के मरीजों को परिजन केवल माउथ पब्लिसिटी के दम पर ले आते हैं। कई लोगों का दावा है कि सात दिन बाद लकवे का असर या तो पूरी तरह खत्‍म हो गया या बहुत हद तक सुधार हुआ।

बुटाटी धाम मंदिर राजस्‍थान के नागौर जिले की देगाना तहसील में स्थित है। यहां से निकटतम रेलवे स्‍टेशन मेढ़ता रोड़ है जो करीब 45 किमी दूर है। जयपुर एवं जोधपुर रूट पर यह स्‍टेशन आता है। स्‍टेशन से मंदिर आने के लिए जीप मिलती है। अधिकांश लोग स्‍वयं की फोर-व्‍हीलर से भी आते हैं। ठहरने के लिए मंदिर परिसर से आधा किमी दूर गेस्‍ट हाउस है। अजमेर-कोटा रोड पर भी गेस्‍ट हाउस बना है लेकिन अधिकांश लोग मंदिर परिसर में ही ठहरते हैं। ऑटो सेवा है लेकिन बहुत सीमित।

सात दिन का नियम, क्‍या और क्‍यों

यहां मरीजों को अधिक से अधिक 7 दिन और 7 रात ही रुकने की अनुमति है। इससे अधिक समय होने पर उन्‍हें यहां से जाने के लिए बोल दिया जाता है। इसकी क्‍या वजह है। पूछे जाने पर मंदिर प्रबंध समिति अध्‍यक्ष शिवसिंह बताते हैं, नए लोगों को आने के लिए जगह मिलना चाहिये। कोई भी मरीज नया आता है तो सबसे पहले उसका रजिस्‍ट्रेशन किया जाता है। उसके अनुसार उसे सामग्री भी उपलब्‍ध कराई जाती है। इसमें दर्ज तारीख के अनुसार सातवें दिन उसे स्‍थान खाली करना होता है। यदि वह नहीं करता तो उसे यहां से जाने का आग्रह किया जाता है।

अमेरिका, आस्‍ट्रेलिया, अफगानिस्‍तान से आए मरीज

बुटाटी धाम मंदिर का संचालन यहां ट्रस्‍ट और मंदिर समित‍ि करती है। समिति के अध्‍यक्ष शिवसिंह का कहना है कि हम प्रचार में विश्‍वास नहीं रखते इसलिए आज तक मंदिर के बारे में हमने किसी ने कुछ नहीं कहा। सारे लोग केवल आस्‍था के चलते यहां आते हैं। पिछले दस वर्षों में यहां आने वाले मरीजों की संख्‍या बढ़ी है। इंटरनेट पर मंदिर का खूब नाम है इसलिए देश ही नहीं, विदेशों से भी लोग आते हैं। नवरात्र में अमेरिका, आस्‍ट्रेलिया और अफगानिस्‍तान से भी मरीज यहां आए थे।

यह है धार्मिक कहानी

मंदिर के संबंध में कहानी प्रचलित है। लगभग 600 साल पहले यहां चतुरदास जी नाम के संत थे। कहा जाता है कि उनके पास 500 से अधिक बीघा जमीन थी जो उन्‍होंने दान कर दी और आरोग्‍य की तपस्‍या करने चले गए। बताया जाता है कि सिद्धि प्राप्‍त करके वे आए यहां जीवित समाधि ले ली। उस स्‍थल पर ही आज मंदिर है।

खास बातों पर एक नजर

- मरीजों को मंदिर की ओर से भोजन व आवास की नि:शुल्‍क व्यवस्था की जाती है।

- पूरे परिसर में लोग सात दिन तक रुक सकते हैं। उनसे रहने-खाने का शुल्‍क नहीं लिया जाता।

- करीब 90 प्रतिशत लोग अपने ठिकाने पर ही गैस या चूल्‍हे पर भोजन, चाय तैयार करते हैं।

- प्रतिदिन सुबह साढ़े पांच बजे और शाम को साढ़े छह बजे आरती होती है, जिसमें मरीजों-परिजनों का आना अनिवार्य है।

- परिसर में चारों तरफ बड़ी संख्‍या में व्‍हील चेयर इधर-उधर पड़ी नजर आती हैं। इनकी संख्‍या करीब 300 है।

- एकादशी के दिन यहां सर्वाधिक भीड़ उमड़ती है। इस दिन की गई आरती का विशेष महत्‍व बताया गया है।
