We are sorry to announce the passing away of revered Swami Shivamayananda ji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, at Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata, today (11 June 2021) at 9.05 pm due to severe Covid pneumonia. He was 86 and had been suffering from hypertension, bronchial asthma, and kidney disease for some years.

With a heavy heart we announce the passing away of Revered Swami Vagishananda, the senior most Vice President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math , on 12 March 2021 at 7.10 pm at Ramkrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan, Kolkata, owing to a massive heart attack. He was 91.

His mortal remains will be kept at Ramkrishna math, Cossipore from 10:00 pm tonight till 8:30 am tomorrow (13 March 2021) and at Belur Math (Culture Hall) from 9:00 am tomorrow till 8:00 pm for the devotees and admirers to pay their homage.

Cremation will start at about 9:15 pm on 13 March 2021 at Belur Math.
