CLOSED DOORS ARE A BLESSING :

Open doors in life means opportunity, progress and promotion. But unexpectedly certain open doors close. It leaves you desperate. Then you cry out, “O my God, where are you? Is it all over for me? Open one door for me. Give me a sign of your goodness.

This cry comes from desperation. But you as God’s child need to be better informed about closed doors. They do not mean that it is the end of the road for you. They do not mean that God has stopped caring for you. But it means quite the opposite. You need to understand the loving care with which God closes doors in your life. Do not be surprised, you should know for sure that it is God who opens and closes doors in your life. As long as you think it is some human being or institution that does it you are going to be sadly mistaken. If you trust in Jesus, He is the one who opens and closes doors in your life : “What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open” (Revelation 2:7).

Therefore, be sure and fully convinced that the closed doors in your life are His doing. You need not blame anyone for that. You need not curse your circumstances. The best thing to do is to thank God for closing those doors in your life. Is that easy to do? Not at all. But that is the best thing you can do.

Why does God close Doors?
1. So that you can change Directions.
2. so that you can learn to pray more.
3. So that you stop trusting in man.
4. So that you can wait for God’s time.
5. God is preparing you for the task ahead while you wait behind closed doors.

Faith looks across the storm, it does not doubt or stop to look at clouds and things without. Faith does not question why when all His ways are hard to understand, but trusts and prayers. Prayer is the voice of Faith.

Isaiah 55:8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

God’s thoughts are not the same as our thoughts. In fact, the Bible teaches that the thoughts of man are far different than the thoughts of God. Our thoughts are influenced by emotions and even circumstances that we often do not control. Furthermore, our thoughts can lead us astray and down a path of sin and disobedience apart from God. Thankfully God has given us His word to help guide and lead us. God’s perspective is far different than our perspective. His thoughts are different than our thoughts.

God Knows All – Trust Him, that is why we need to embrace the fact that God is a great all knowing God. Be thankful that He knows more than we do. Be thankful that His ways are higher than my ways. We should embrace that and allow God to lead us. Some of the sweetest times in my life spiritually have been when I was out of my comfort zone and not sure what God had in store for me. The times that I tried to run ahead of God and have every detail of my life structured without consulting Him have been times filled with stress. God wants us to surrender our lives to Him and to enjoy the benefits of life filled with His Holy Spirit.

Good Morning. Little adjustment is always better than lengthy Arguments and meaningful Silence is always better than meaningless words.

FINDING GOD IN OUR DESPERATE PLACES:

We experience God's strength in our weakness.

Desperate places are places of weakness, brokenness, and vulnerability. They are those times in our lives where we are at our wits' end and if God does not show up with power and redemption, we are lost. The psalmist speaks of ‘desperate times’ (Psalm 60:3). There are times in life when everything seems to go wrong. This can be true for a society and it can also be true for us as individuals. Even in desperate times, you can find the three great virtues of faith, hope and love.

Good Morning. Mind is not a dustbin to keep anger, jealousy & hatred. But instead it is a treasure box to keep Love, Happiness & Sweet Memories.
