Over 1400 years ago, when a child was born, the Prophet ‎ﷺ made it his Sunnah to take a small part of a date and place it in his mouth. He would then chew it until it was soft and then rub it onto the palate of the new born baby. This is called Taḥnīk.

'Today', BBC News and the University of Auckland have reported that "experts" have said - "A dose of sugar given as a gel rubbed into the inside of the cheek is a cheap and effective way to protect premature babies against brain damage."

This is why Muslims follow the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allāh ‎ﷺ without questioning it. Science is only now discovering a tradition that was introduced 1400 years ago because Islām was and still is the forefront of development.

Our Master Sayyiduna Umar was martyred on 1st Muharram. He spent his life supplicating, 'O Allāh, grant me martyrdom in Your way and death in the city of Your Beloved ﷺ!' So Allāh granted him martyrdom whilst he led the Prayer in Masjid al-Nabawi ﷺ and blessed him to be buried at the feet of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ.

He is the leader of the believers, master of the warriors, the minister of the Messenger ﷺ, the conqueror of al-Quds, the commander at whose hands Islam spread across the east and the west, the man whose walk struck fear in to the devil and the enemy, and the one who Rasūlullāh ﷺ asked Allāh to guide. He was an extremely tall man who had an awe-filled presence. He had a handsome face, a powerful voice, a muscular body, strong hands, an extremely sturdy frame, a mighty stature, and a noble countenance. His power was unmatchable and his favours upon each and everyone of us are indescribable. May Allāh gather us all with him in the Hereafter. رضى الله عنه

Who remembers when people used to come back from Hajj back in the day and bring these amazing gifts back with them? Gazing upon the Ka'bah and wishing we could visit it one day was such an amazing dream.

May Allah grant the highest stations of Jannah to all our loved ones who performed the Hajj and have returned back to Him.

What can we say about the greatness and the honour of the blessed and sacred city of Madinah, that neither Dajjaal nor any fatal disease like plague can enter this blessed city because the innocent angels of Allah ﷻ are guarding on the roads of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah by the divine order of Allah ﷻ, and they will definitely not let any plague nor Dajjaal enter this beautiful and radiant city of Madinah, the city of the most Beloved and Blessed Prophet ﷺ!

Allah has said that the martyrs are alive in their graves and they are being sustained by their Lord but in a way that we cannot comprehend. If this is the life of the martyrs in the graves then we know for sure that the Prophets and Messengers are alive in their graves in a manner that we can't grasp. Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ informed us that Allah has made it haram for the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.

The blessed body of our Master Muhammad ﷺ is pure and illuminated in his resting place. He is alive and knows the affairs of his ummah. He seeks forgiveness for us when we sin. He replies to our salawat and he supplicates for us. Qadi 'Iyad said that the earth that touches his ﷺ blessed body at this very moment is greater than the Ka'bah and all created things. The hearts of those who connect on to the Prophet ﷺ become alive by virtue of him.
