Matthew 16:18 “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it”
Saint of the Day, St. Athanasius, Bishop and Doctor: He was born at Alexandria in A. D. 295. He attended the Council of Nicaea, in 325, which had been called to rebut the heresy of Arius, which denied the divinity of Christ. Arius was also an Alexandrian. Athanasius became bishop of Alexandria in 328, and was tireless in combatting the heresy. He was exiled five times for his persistence. He wrote brilliantly, both in defense of doctrine, and on spiritual matters.

Prayer to Saint Raphael (For protection during travel)
Saint Raphael, the archangel, you were the faithful companion to young Tobiah on his journey from Syria to Media, rescuing him from many dangers, even the danger of death in the river. Be a safe guide and an angel of consolation to those we love traveling to foreign lands. Keep far from them all dangers of body and soul, and lead them safely to their destination. Lord God, grant us the help of Saint Raphael, who enters and serves before your glory and offers you our petitions. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
“I ask all of you to pray, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of the Church, that the Synod process will result in pastoral decisions truly beneficial to the family, the Church and society”, the Bishop of Rome.
Pray the Holy Rosary for the Will and Purpose of God in the deliberations, discussions and decisions as responses get collated in the Synodal Process, the Church would uphold the FAMILY as taught by Holy Mother Church - CCC # 2207 The family is the original cell of social life. It is the natural society in which husband and wife are called to give themselves in love and in the gift of life. Authority, stability, and a life of relationships within the family constitute the foundations for freedom, security, and fraternity within society. The family is the community in which, from childhood, one can learn moral values, begin to honor God, and make good use of freedom. Family life is an initiation into life in society.
And not a pseudo family as some quarters in the Church seem to be suggesting and pushing forward as the NEW NORMAL - same s*x-unions - At the same time, the Church recalls that God Himself never ceases to bless each of His pilgrim children in this world, because for Him “we are more important to God than all of the sins that we can commit” But he does not and cannot bless sin: he blesses sinful man, so that he may recognize that he is part of his plan of love and allow himself to be changed by him. He in fact “takes us as we are, but never leaves us as we are”
For the above mentioned reasons, the Church does not have, and cannot have the power to bless unions of persons of the same s*x in the sense intended above. - Responsum of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to a dubium regarding the blessing of the unions of persons of the same s*x, 15.03.2021
that the CHURCH - Hope of the Nations, lives for CHRIST and the PROCLAMATION OF THE GOSPEL - CCC # 776 “The Church "is the visible plan of God's love for humanity," because God desires "that the whole human race may become one People of God, form one Body of Christ, and be built up into one temple of the Holy Spirit."
And that SOCIETY would receive the Good News from a Synodal Church, the DOORWAY to Baptism and the WALK with the Saviour - CCC # 846 “Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.”
PRAYER THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF ST. ATHANASIUS:
Father, you raised up Saint Athanasius to be an outstanding defender of the truth of Christ’s divinity. By his teaching and protection may we grow in your knowledge and love.
Father keep the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality to be ever faithful to Christ and the Gospels, keep her free from confusions and all disorders, from going on the broad and wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
