We will pray very specially during these 'NINE DAYS' that God would raise many SAINTLY WOMEN in the Church - young women, teenage girls and for those discerning a vocation, through God's WORD, with Mary, through the intercession of St. Bernadette and with Holy Mother Church, that they would become the courageous new *VISIBLE* *VOICES* in the Family, the Community, the Parish and in the Church; bringing to 'THE LIGHT' especially teachings that lack CLARITY, even worse, that are CONFUSING and CHAOTIC leading the people of God astray from the TRUTH - _*Ephesians 5:12-13 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. Luke 1:50 “… His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation”

“We must not separate our life from the Eucharist. The moment we do so, something shatters.” St Teresa of Calcutta

We pray through the Eucharist and Holy Rosary for an end to the war and the pandemic. We pray for mothers. Pray for those alone, those mothers who are despised by their children, those lonely despite being with family, those who are single mothers, those who are giving up hope and those who are mourning the death of their loved ones, especially their children or grand-children, casualties of covid.

Offer the Holy Mass today for the good health, safety and safe journey of FBB Intercessors travelling to be part of the FBB International Ruby Pilgrimage cm Retreat as well as the presence and protection of God’s angelic hosts during this time - Psalm 103:20:21 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, obedient to his spoken word. Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers who do his will.

We offer the Eucharist today that God the Holy Ghost enlightens the faithful in the Synodal Process to sincerely seek God as how we as Church can be the ‘Light of Christ’ in these dark and distressing times - John 12:46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness,

as the responses get collated, praying ‘Lord Jesus make us - our families, our communities, our parishes a Light to the Gentiles’, so that those in the darkness of unbelief and those in bondgage to sin would experience the liberating Light of Christ - Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven;

So that the hallmark of the draft recommendations, would urge believers of the need to be reflections of ‘THE TRUE LIGHT' - John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Luke 1:42 “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb”

"Saint of the Day, St. Rose Venerini: She was born at Viterbo in Italy, the daughter of a doctor. Following the death of her fiancé she entered a convent, but soon returned home to care for her newly widowed mother. Meanwhile, Rose invited the women of the neighborhood to recite the rosary in her home, forming a sort of sodality with them.

As she looked to her future under the spiritual guidance of a Jesuit priest, Rose became convinced that she was called to become a teacher in the world rather than a contemplative nun in a convent.

We pray through the intercession of St. Raphael 'travel mercies' as FBB intercessors travel to be part of the Ruby Pilgrimage cm Retreat - Exodus 23:20 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared”

We pray through the Holy Rosary for young people. We pray for the breaking of bo***ge - gadgets, alcohol, drugs, po*******hy, to***co, etc. and grace for our young people to desire virtues over vice, grace over gadgets, intimacy with Jesus over the internet. Pray for the young people who are mentally disturbed and s*xually exploited. Pray for vocations; that young people have a devotion to Our Lady.

St. Rose Venerini journeyed in prayer and discernment under a spiritual father and found her vocation to help the less fortunate in society; pray through her intercession that the responses collated in the Synodal Process draft recommendations would call out young people to service through a process of PURITY IN INTENT, through prayer and discernment, journeying with the Lord and the community, having the fruit of holiness - Matthew 7:16-18 You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

PRAYER:
O God, who raised up blessed Rose Venerini in your Church to show others the way of salvation, grant us, by her example, so to follow Christ the master that we may come with our neighbor into your presence.

We also ask You Father for the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality for grace and fortitude to be ever faithful to the Gospels, to be kept from all disorders, confusions, from going on the wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. This prayer we make, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Luke 1:43 “And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me”

Saint of the Day, St. Marian, an ordained lector, and St. James, a deacon: Both martyred during the persecution of Valerian around the year 259 A. D. Few other facts are known about them. It seems that while they were in prison, each had a vision regarding his martyrdom. They drew courage from these apparitions and were able to courageously face death.

Pray for each one of us our families and in those in need, especially good health for FBB Intercessors gathered for the FBB Ruby International retreat cm intercession during this time -
ST. FAUSTINA’S HEALING PRAYER
“Jesus, may Your healthy blood circulate in my ailing organism, and may Your pure and healthy body transform my weak body, and may a healthy and vigorous life throb within me, if it is truly Your holy will’ (Diary # 1089)

Fast and pray through the Holy Rosary for families. We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon each family to enter deeply into God’s heart. May rivers of God’s mercy wash away years of pain, deep-seated hurts and frustration and replace it with an ability to forgive. Fast and pray fervently for restoration of marriages and relationships in families. May Mary crush the head of satan and bring the grace of restoration, reconciliation and peace into every family. May the Christian home become a true domestic church; a testimony of God’s abundant grace and mercy.

Synodality: A decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church

We pray through the intercession of St. Marian and St. James whose hope was the Lord, knowing that they were only aliens here - Daniel 3:16-18 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."

that the responses collated in the Synodal Process draft recommendations would have men and women speaking about HOPE in relation to Eternal Life and the answers that can be found and suffering that makes sense only in Jesus - Hope of Glory especially in our times of growing hopelessness - despair distraught, dysfunction - CCC # 1817 Hope is the theological virtue by which we desire the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our happiness, placing our trust in Christ's promises and relying not on our own strength, but on the help of the grace of the Holy Spirit. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." "The Holy Spirit . . . he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life."

Prayer:
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us St. Marian and St. James, both martyred for the hope of eternal life that they placed in You. Help us to imitate the devotion that they both showed to You in their life,
we also ask You for the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality for grace and fortitude to be ever faithful to the Gospels, to be kept from all disorders, confusions, from going on the wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Amen.

Matthew 19:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”

Saint of the Day, St. Hilary of Arles, Bishop: He was known for his austerities, his aid to the poor, and for ransoming captives. On two occasions Hilary became embroiled in controversies with Pope St. Leo I the Great, but they were reconciled, and Hilary's sanctity brought him great veneration.

Pray the Holy Blood of Jesus be poured on the place of residence, and on those connected with the service as FBB Intercessors gather to pray for the Church and seek the Lord at the FBB International Ruby Pilgrimage cm retreat: Lord JESUS, by faith in your merits, I now take your Precious Blood and sprinkle it over the place of residence and on every person connected with it right from the crown of their head to the very soles of their feet. Lord Jesus we pray by your Holy Blood to keep the place free from every evil, satan’s attacks and afflictions, all calamities and from all that is not of thy Kingdom. Fill the place Lord JESUS with Your Presence and send your angels to guard the place. Praise you Jesus! Thank You Jesus!

Pray through the Holy Rosary for children and adolescents; may Jesus the Good Shepherd look after His sheep/lambs. Pray for children during their vacations that they be preserved from danger and addiction. Pray especially for their spiritual and mental/emotional health.

Synodality: A decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church

We pray through the intercession of St. Hilary of Arles that the responses collated in the Synodal Process would uphold the TRUTH - Jesus the Way to Salvation as the Name given by which all men are saved from sin and satan - Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation - DEI VERBUM - Chapter 1 # 2. In His goodness and wisdom God chose to reveal Himself and to make known to us the hidden purpose of His will (see Eph. 1:9) by which through Christ, the Word made flesh, man might in the Holy Spirit have access to the Father and come to share in the divine nature (see Eph. 2:18; 2 Peter 1:4). Through this revelation, therefore, the invisible God (see Col. 1;15, 1 Tim. 1:17) out of the abundance of His love speaks to men as friends (see Ex. 33:11; John 15:14-15) and lives among them (see Bar. 3:38), so that He may invite and take them into fellowship with Himself.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us St. Hilary as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the devotion to You that he showed in his life, from the time of his conversion to Christianity. St. Hilary, you were raised and educated in the pagan religion. Despite this, you opened yourself up to Christianity and in the service to God - (bring my petitions to the Lord)

Dear Lord we also ask You for the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality for grace and fortitude to be ever faithful to the Gospels, to be kept from all disorders, confusions, from going on the wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Amen

Luke 1:41 “And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit”

Saint of the Day, Blessed Michal Giedroyc: Michal suffered from a number of birth defects including being a dwarf and having the use of only one foot. Though his formal education was frequently interrupted and limited, he was an exceptional metal worker. He Joined the Augustinian Canons Regular of the Penance of the Blessed Martyrs, an Order now extinct, in Kraków, Poland where he lived as a hermit in a cell next to an Augustinian monastery. Known for creating sacred vessels for Mass. Received a vision of Christ who told him, “Be patient until death, and you will receive the crown of life.” Known for the gifts of prophesy and miracles.

We ask the protection of St. Michael and his warring angels that they stand guard at every gate and entry point as well as pull down all obstacles, concerns and restrictions that could hinder FBB Missionary Intercessors travelling to take part in the Ruby intercession cm retreat so that the Lord of Light dispels the darkness (wherever) in the Church and that the Lord of Glory may be magnified in the midst of God’s servants - Psalm 24:10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!

Prayer to St. Michael
"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen."

We pray through the Holy Rosary for pregnant women; may Jesus the Word made flesh truly provide sustenance to all women who are expecting, that they be preserved from all fear and infection, and the baby in the womb will be blessed by the Holy Spirit. We pray for regulations to protect the unborn child, and the girl child, all over the world, and for those in the abortion industry to be convicted of sin and turn to the merciful arms of the Saviour.

Synodality: A decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church

We pray through the intercession of Blessed Michal Giedroyc that the responses collated in the Synodal Process would not only uphold as taught and preached by the Teachings of the Twelve Apostles in the Didache - Didache 2:2 “You shall not murder a child in destruction nor shall you kill one just born” - THE SACREDNESS OF LIFE, but that the killing of the unborn becomes a preeminent priority in the Synodal Church - a call to take a stand/fight for the rights of the unborn a cause for Social Justice - CCC # 2270 Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person - among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.

PRAYER:
On this feast day of Blessed Michael Giedroyc, we pray for those of us that suffer from physical handicaps. So many people face obstacles and discrimination because of their physical disabilities. May we be inspired by Blessed Michael Giedroyc and his quiet strength. May we find solace from his work that sought out the injustice of the disabled in our communities, forged a path and example of his rich spiritual life despite his own physical needs.

We also pray for the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality the grace and fortitude to be ever faithful to Christ and the Gospels, to be kept from all disorders, confusions, from going on the wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Heavenly Father, we ask these prayers through Christ our Lord, Amen.

1 Chronicles 16:18 “O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples”

Saints of the Day, St. Philip and St. James: Philip was born in Bethsaida. At first a disciple of John the Baptist, he became a follower of Christ. James, a cousin of the Lord and the son of Alphaeus, ruled over the Church in Jerusalem, wrote an epistle, and converted many of the Jewish people to the faith. He led an austere life and suffered martyrdom in the year 62 A. D.

Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin to much. You can never love her more than Jesus did - Saint Maximilian Kolbe. We pray the Holy Rosary for the International Pilgrimage of the Fellowship of the Burning Bush to Rome this month; through this missionary intercession, may the power of the Holy Ghost move in a mighty way to bring a new springtime - congregational transformation, renewal, revitalization, and restoration - focused on the renewal of spiritual and sacramental vitality in the Church, like Pentecost men illuminated by the Light of Christ would seek after the Way, the Truth and the Life- John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Pray the Blood of Jesus wash every participant of all evil, sin and hurt and open them to the Holy Spirit’s move.

Synodality: A decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church

We pray through the intercession of St. Philip and St. James that the responses collated in the Synodal Process - recommendations presented would uphold SOUND DOCTRINE as taught and preached by the Apostles - The Deposit of Faith, consisting of Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture, from which two sources the Magisterium teaches - Jude 1:3 Beloved, being very eager to write to you of our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints;

as sound doctrine is important theology for every believer, it not only affects behavior, but directs action since there is a correlation between what we think and how we act - 1 Timothy 1:9-10 This means understanding that the law is laid down not for the innocent but for the lawless and disobedient, for the godless and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers, fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching,

sound doctrine enables the community to ascertain (make sure) the truth and resist the falsehood of the world, the flesh and the devil - 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world,

sound doctrine is so vital to the soul because it leads the Church on the path of life - Eternal Life - 1 Timothy 4:16 Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers,

sound doctrine is important because it confirms and encourages believers to grow in the faith - Jude 1:4 For certain intruders have stolen in among you, people who long ago were designated for this condemnation as ungodly, who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

PRAYER:
O God, who gladden us each year, with the feast day of the Apostles Philip and James, grant us, through their prayers, a share in the Passion and Resurrection of Your Only Begotten Son, so that we may merit to behold You for eternity.

O God grant to your Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality the grace and fortitude to be ever faithful to Christ and the Gospels, to be kept from all disorders, confusions, from going on the wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Matthew 16:18 “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it”

Saint of the Day, St. Athanasius, Bishop and Doctor: He was born at Alexandria in A. D. 295. He attended the Council of Nicaea, in 325, which had been called to rebut the heresy of Arius, which denied the divinity of Christ. Arius was also an Alexandrian. Athanasius became bishop of Alexandria in 328, and was tireless in combatting the heresy. He was exiled five times for his persistence. He wrote brilliantly, both in defense of doctrine, and on spiritual matters.

Pray travel mercies for Sr. Stephen as she journeys in preparation for the International Ruby Pilgrimage:

Prayer to Saint Raphael (For protection during travel)
Saint Raphael, the archangel, you were the faithful companion to young Tobiah on his journey from Syria to Media, rescuing him from many dangers, even the danger of death in the river. Be a safe guide and an angel of consolation to those we love traveling to foreign lands. Keep far from them all dangers of body and soul, and lead them safely to their destination. Lord God, grant us the help of Saint Raphael, who enters and serves before your glory and offers you our petitions. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

“I ask all of you to pray, through the intercession of Mary, Mother of the Church, that the Synod process will result in pastoral decisions truly beneficial to the family, the Church and society”, the Bishop of Rome.

Pray the Holy Rosary for the Will and Purpose of God in the deliberations, discussions and decisions as responses get collated in the Synodal Process, the Church would uphold the FAMILY as taught by Holy Mother Church - CCC # 2207 The family is the original cell of social life. It is the natural society in which husband and wife are called to give themselves in love and in the gift of life. Authority, stability, and a life of relationships within the family constitute the foundations for freedom, security, and fraternity within society. The family is the community in which, from childhood, one can learn moral values, begin to honor God, and make good use of freedom. Family life is an initiation into life in society.

And not a pseudo family as some quarters in the Church seem to be suggesting and pushing forward as the NEW NORMAL - same s*x-unions - At the same time, the Church recalls that God Himself never ceases to bless each of His pilgrim children in this world, because for Him “we are more important to God than all of the sins that we can commit” But he does not and cannot bless sin: he blesses sinful man, so that he may recognize that he is part of his plan of love and allow himself to be changed by him. He in fact “takes us as we are, but never leaves us as we are”

For the above mentioned reasons, the Church does not have, and cannot have the power to bless unions of persons of the same s*x in the sense intended above. - Responsum of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to a dubium regarding the blessing of the unions of persons of the same s*x, 15.03.2021

that the CHURCH - Hope of the Nations, lives for CHRIST and the PROCLAMATION OF THE GOSPEL - CCC # 776 “The Church "is the visible plan of God's love for humanity," because God desires "that the whole human race may become one People of God, form one Body of Christ, and be built up into one temple of the Holy Spirit."

And that SOCIETY would receive the Good News from a Synodal Church, the DOORWAY to Baptism and the WALK with the Saviour - CCC # 846 “Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.”

PRAYER THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF ST. ATHANASIUS:
Father, you raised up Saint Athanasius to be an outstanding defender of the truth of Christ’s divinity. By his teaching and protection may we grow in your knowledge and love.

Father keep the Church journeying on the Synod on Synodality to be ever faithful to Christ and the Gospels, keep her free from confusions and all disorders, from going on the broad and wrong path and from partiality that which could influence actions. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Feast of St. Joseph, the Worker: We pray through his intercession today ‘Workers Day’, for those impacted due to Covid19 and recession, by job loss/stress/workaholics/those in adverse working conditions. Pray for the migrants from Ukraine and other troubled spots who have left their homes. Pray today for the State of Maharashtra, as we celebrate its formation day. We will journey with Our Blessed Mother in prayer, penance and reparation this month as we pray the rosary for the church and the world, especially lifting up families and youth. In every danger, invoke Mary and I can assure you that your prayers will be heard – Don Bosco.

We offer the Eucharist today as responses get collated, that God enlightens the faithful in the Synodal Process to inquire of God how can we as a Church draw closer to YOU, praying like Mary the new Eve - Luke 1:38 Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.”

so that the hallmark of the draft presentations, would echo the prayer of the NEW ADAM - Christ Our Saviour - Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 “Pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”

Saint of the Day, Pope St. Pius V: As pope, Pius saw his main objective as the continuation of the massive program of reform for the Church, in particular the full implementation of the decrees of the Council of Trent. He published the Roman Catechism, the revised Roman Breviary, and the Roman Missal; he also declared Thomas Aquinas a Doctor of the Church, commanded a new edition of the works of Thomas Aquinas, and created a commission to revise the Vulgate. The decrees of Trent were published throughout all Catholic lands, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and the New World, and the pontiff insisted on their strict adherence. In 1571, Pius created the Congregation of the Index to give strength to the Church's resistance to Protestant and heretical writings, and he used the Inquisition to prevent any Protestant ideas from gaining a foot hold in Italy. In dealing with the threat of the Ottoman Turks who were advancing steadily across the Mediterranean, Pius organized a formidable alliance between Venice and Spain, culminating in the Battle of Lepanto, which was a complete and shattering triumph over the Turks. The day of the victory was declared the Feast Day of Our Lady of Victory in recognition of Our Lady's intercession in answer to the saying of the Rosary all over Catholic Europe. Pius also spurred the reforms of the Church by example. He insisted upon wearing his coarse Dominican robes, even beneath the magnificent vestments worn by the popes, and was wholeheartedly devoted to the religious life.

Let us continuously thank God in the firm knowledge that by His death and resurrection, nothing can hold us down and every cross and hardship that we face can be turned by His grace into the victory of Easter. Pray for the Light, glory and protection of the Risen Lord on Sr. Stephen and all members of the Fellowship of the Burning Bush worldwide as well as the Sanctuary Intercessors that God would bless every member, especially those who join in intercession at the prayer initiatives. Let us be an Easter people, always thankful, joyful and hopeful in Jesus Christ our Lord and God. Pray God’s blessing and protection for the FBB International Pilgrimage, as FBB celebrates its Ruby Jubilee this year.

Synodality: A decisive theme for the life and mission of the Church

We ask the intercession of Pope, St. Pius V, that the Risen Lord takes total control of the Synodal Process as the responses get collated, praying through his intercession that the people of God would receive clarity to act and respond in the Light of Christ, while detesting the darkness of sin and satan - 1 John 1:5-7 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin,

would be confirmed in their hearts to respond with zeal to the goodness of God and bring to light the subtle suggestions of the evil one - Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter;

and finally would truly understand that there exists a chasm between God and sin (mortal) and that satan is always in opposition to salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
