MANS accuses Ashirwad Prayer Centre for misguiding their followers

MUMBAI: The Ashirwad Prayer Centre at Vasai that talks about 'Jesus Christ Healing People' is the centre of disagreement with Narendra Dabholkar's Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) filing a police case alleging the centre of conning people under the name of superstitions and miracles.
The centre at Bhuigaon Dongri in Vasai attracts many people, especially the sick from across the state. There are daily bus services from Vasai and Nalasopara to transport the people visiting the centre.
MANS says that in order to perform miracles and heal the sick, the centre is drawing people towards their religion and the money has been taken from the people who flocked to the centre.
The centre is run by Dr Sebastain Martin, a preacher since 1985 and they claims to heal sickness like cancer, HIV, kidney and heart ailments through prayer.
The Vasaigaon police filed a case against the centre under the Anti Superstition and Black Magic Act against Martin and his group on Sunday.
The centre charges for organising residential retreats. And, prayers to heal the sick are also done via videos and telephone. For Hindu, the prayers are held on Fridays and for Marathis on Saturday and Sunday.

ashirwad prarthana center, buigaon is under attack by media n anti christian elements. 2 pple already got arrested by police. lot of political n other pressure to stop the prayer meetns n the center. we all r unitedly fightn out to protect our xn comunity. request all the pastors, key leaders, christian advocates, and pray for this issue

Hello,
Bible tells us "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."(2 Chronicles 7:14)

For the last 2000 years, its the cry of many missionaries, mission movements and God's children, to see this nation be touched by love of God. Many missionaries from across the world spend their entire life here and its continuing now also. They stood in the gap and interceded for this nation.

Our nation is going through a tough time now, especially mission movements. Opposition is increasing, persecution is rising, missionaries are not allowed to enter villages even to visit believers houses,believers are being threatened and in every way enemy is trying to prevent gospel to reach the unreached. Fringe elements and fanatic groups are putting all their efforts to create communal polarisation and destroy secular fabric of this nation.
And prayer is the only strategy which works in these situations.

With this in mind, FMPB(Friends Missionary Prayer Band) is raising a movement of 1000 hours of continuous prayer for our nation. The only objective is to plead before God for this beautiful nation, which is our birth place. This prayer movement started from 18th February and continue till 2nd April and prayers are happening in various parts of this country.

As believers working in corporate world, we also have a part to do in this movement. We request you to spare 30 minutes or one hour,only to pray for our nation.

Date allotted to us : March 22(sunday), 2015
Time : 30 minutes or one hour between 12 AM of Saturday night till 12 AM Sunday night.
Once you acknowledge your willingness to be part of this prayer movement, we will let you know your time slot or if you wish to pray on a particular time slot, please mention that.
Venue : The place where you feel comfortable(your house/room etc). Its between you and God and nothing else.
