A Prayer for our nation:

Almighty Heavenly Father, we stand in awe before You, encouraged by Your Spirit and exult Your name as we celebrate the 77th republic day of our nation.
Lord, we commend our President, Prime Minister, Central and State ministers, our judiciary, armed forces and all other authorities involved in governing our nation.
Lord, grant them Your grace, wisdom and strength to serve the country truthfully upholding the sovereignty of our nation.
Lord, place a hedge around our nation and protect us from all kinds of threats posed by terrorists, religious fanatics, other anti social elements and infighting within our community.
Lord, let the transformative power of forgiveness set us free and give us the courage to forgive others who are against Your children and servants who share Your gospel.
Lord, help us to remain as one body in Christ, so that all may be one, displaying our Christian faith and love to the world.
We pray these things in the name of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Different pews, same prayers. Standing together with our Catholic brethren at St Andrew’s.
As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Bandra, hosted St. Stephen's members for a joint prayer service.
As Rev. G. John Roland reflected: "Is Christ divided? was the question asked by Apostle Paul to the Corinthians Church. The answer is, Christ is not divided. We may have different expressions, but we worship the same God.”
He further added that the gathering was a meaningful opportunity to express mutual love and concern, offering joint prayers for the people around us and for peace in the nation.
