Bandra One Group Meeting

We had a productive meeting with Jt Commissioner Police Traffic, Mr. Anil Kumbhare, and Sr PI Sanjay Marathe of Bandra Police Station to address the critical traffic issues in our beloved neighborhood. Here's a summary of the key points discussed:

1. Illegal Entry from Hill Road to Almeida Park Road 🚗
- Action: Enhanced monitoring and stricter enforcement.

2. Jeff Caterers Junction, Bazar Road and Waroda Road🚦
- Action: Installation of proper signage and regular patrols.

3. Two-Wheelers in No-Entry Zones 🛵
- Problem areas: Bazaar Road and Waroda Road.
- Action: Immediate enforcement of no-entry rules.

4. Illegal Tempo Parking 🚛
- Locations: Kandeshwari Marg and Roque Road.
- Action: Regular checks and penalties for violators.

5. Illegal Parking near Tangerine Arts Studio 🚗
- St. Leo Road visitors causing daily nuisances.
- Action: Dedicated parking enforcement around Tangerine Arts Studio.

6. Excessive Traffic due to Andora Cafe, St. Andrew's Auditorium and Grounds 🚦
- Action: Traffic police presence during peak hours.

7. Buying and Selling of Cars on Mt Mary Kane Road 🚘
- Issues: Illegal parking by users and rickshaws, school buses parking throughout the day.
- Action: Regulation of car sales and dedicated school bus zones.

8. St. Anthony Road Parking Issues 🚖
- Constant parking by vehicles for sale, cabs, and autos.
- Action: Regular patrols and enforcement of parking rules.

9. No-Parking Clarification at Almeida Park 🛑
- Recent circular needs clarity.
- Action: Detailed explanation and proper signage.

10. St. Cyril Rd Parking Regulations 🚗
- Odd-Even Days Parking not reinstated after road concretization.
- Action: Reinstalling the boards and strict adherence to rules.

11. St. Leo's Road Commercial Vehicle Parking 🚛
- Persistent issue of commercial trucks and vehicles parking illegally.
- Action: Stringent monitoring and penalties for offenders.

12. Trios Building Hill Road: Reinstall No parking boards and take action against cars parked outside.

We are grateful for the assurances given by the Mumbai Traffic Police and Bandra Police to take immediate and effective action on these issues. Let's work together to ensure a safer and more organized Bandra!

1) Move Rickshaw stand there
2) Arrange 5 daily pickup of trash
3) Increase fine to 10,000/
4) Door to Door pickup.
