Philippians 4:11-13 NKJV
[11] Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: [12] I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer needs.
[13] For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Too often, verse 13 is read on its own. But in context, Paul is talking about contentment, not unlimited success. Writing from prison, he reveals the secret of enduring every season: Christ is our strength.

Whether in abundance or in need, victory or hardship, Christ gives us the strength to remain faithful.

Our confidence is not in our circumstances, but in Christ.

Sometimes we look at our parents through the lens of their successes, failures, strengths, or mistakes. We may compare them with others or wish some things had been different.

But Ephesians 6:1–3 reminds us that God doesn't tell us to honor our parents because they are perfect, wealthy, or successful. He calls us to honor them because He has placed them in our lives.

Honoring our parents doesn't mean they never made mistakes. It means choosing to show respect, gratitude, and love in a way that reflects our obedience to God.

Today, let's ask God to help us honor our parents with our words, our actions, and our hearts

A missionary who gave more than sermons...

When Rev. Miles Bronson arrived in Assam in the 1830s, he didn't just preach the Gospel he listened, learned, and served.

He believed that sharing Christ also meant educating communities, valuing their language, and investing in their future. He established schools, worked among Indigenous communities, and spent years studying Assamese and other local languages.

In 1867, he published the first Assamese–English dictionary, a landmark work that helped document and strengthen the Assamese language. Along with fellow American Baptist missionaries, he also contributed to the growth of Assamese literature and early print culture.

His story reminds us that faithful mission is more than words it's about serving people with love, preserving what is valuable, and leaving a legacy that blesses generations.

"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16

The world is growing darker, but God's people were never called to panic we were called to pray.

Every day we see wars, violence, deception, persecution, and increasing rebellion against God. Yet Scripture reminds us that these things should not drive us to fear but to faith.

Just as Esther was placed in a position of influence at a critical moment in history, we too have been placed in this generation for a purpose. This is not the time to be silent. This is not the time to be spiritually asleep.

Now is the time to seek God.
Now is the time to intercede for our families, churches, communities, and nations.
Now is the time to stand in the gap and pray.

The answer to a darkening world is not despair.
It is a praying person.

📖 Esther 4:13–14

"Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish.
