Seva team met the parents of the 6 months old patient just out of ICU post open heart surgery supported via Chinmaya Seva Trust .

RS.50,000 was transferred to the Cardiac surgery department.
The parents(Kavita Notki & her husband)were smiling and going back to their home in Palghar after a successful discharge.

🎈30 baby diapers & 1 Baby Layette,used clothes in good condition were handed over to the patient & nursing station at Cardiac ward.

1 new Air Matress & Pump was given to Orthopedic surgery Ward as per their requirements.

With the grace of Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda🪷and invaluable encouragement from Pujya Swami Swatmanandji , on the 29 th of March, a 5 member team from Vinoba Nagar , Gagode village,Pen ( District Raigadh)were invited to CORD🎈 ( Chinmaya Organization for Rural development) for 10 days of training , for enhancement and development of their village in aspects of Economic upliftment.

Health ,Education , Social issues & fostering sustainable development

A year ago in April 2025 a special CORD team of 3 from Siddhbari had evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the village .

At CORD ,( Himachal Pradesh)initially
they were given instructions on how to form and operate a Mahila Mandal ,
maintenance of records and rules and regulations for the same and of most importance instilled them with confidence to carry out this venture .

They were taken to villages like Tang , Masal and Bhuner where CORD has been successfully operating last many years.

Tang village , they said , has been running a successful Mahila mandal for 28 years , giving loans to inhabitants by availing of micro finance from banks.

This Mandal has received 2 government awards for efficiency and efficacy.

The team was also shown running Baal Vihars , Healthcare and Nutrition camps and also assistance to handicapped persons

Further they were given real life experience in preparing Organic fertilizers and sprays for organic farming

All in all they were armed with an immense amount of valuable knowledge to implement in their village , which by the Grace of Pujya Gurudev will soon be put into practice .

_Divine Ramcharitmanas Parayan Concludes at Chinmaya Sagar_

Chaitra Navratri this year, witnessed a sublime celebration of devotion and surrender at Chinmaya Sagar Churchgate, where around thirty devotees gathered daily, for a nine-day Ramcharitmanas Parayan that began on Thursday, 19th April, 2026. The event, the first of its kind in Chinmaya Mission Mumbai, was the result of a firm sankalp taken by Sevika Vibha Mittal, who led the chanting in her melodious voice, with shraddha and inspiring fervour .

Pujya Swami Swatmananda ji inaugurated the event, by invoking the presence and blessings of Shri Tulsidasji, Shri Valmikiji, Shri ShivParvatiji and the Shri Ram Parivaar. Swami ji then emphasized the importance of reading the Ramayan with correct understanding and devotion, highlighting its power to transform lives and bring inner peace.

The afternoons that followed were nothing short of magic, immersed in the sacred verses of Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas.
Each session began with a Ramayan pooja, followed by the chanting of hundred and twenty Chaupais ( as prescribed in the text). The ambience was truly enchanting, with the beautiful decor and an overwhelming sense of pure divinity. Many new faces, including some non-Chinmaya Mission members, attended the sessions drawn by the tranquility and soul- stirring depth of the Parayan.

Each session concluded with the Ramayan Arti and Prasad, leaving participants rejuvenated and deepening their connect with the Lord .

The Parayan saw a befitting culmination on the auspicious occasion of RAM NAVMI on March 27th, with the remaining portion of the Ramayan being chanted, followed by a sublime Pooja and joyous celebration of the arrival of RAM LALLA... symbolizing His birth in our hearts.

The festivities ended with a delicious lunch prasad, leaving everyone with mixed emotions... joy from welcoming the Lord , yet a tinge of disappointment, now that the sublime Parayan had wrapped up!

“Om Satya Sankalpaye Namaha”

With the grace of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, Sagar Zone seva team interacted with the members of the Gagode village, Vinoba Nagar, Pen taluka on the 13 th of March

The 5 member team going to CORD Siddhabari for training on 29 th March (for a period of 12 days) was facilitated and presented with backpacks for their journey containing steel waterbottle, shawl, towel, napkin, toiletries and note book and pen to record their observations

Following this, to foster the idea of cooperative endeavour in action ( Mahila Mandal ), a basic tenet of CORD ethos, the 11 women from the village were taught to make soaps and chocolate step by step by Janhavi Gurjar assisted by Bharti Kshatriya, Joshna Patel and Chandni Hitkari
The women were thrilled to see their achievements and were, needless to say, eager to learn more of such programmes
